Chapter 16

Since the kissing situation, me and Zach have kept far away from each other meaning I am lying on my bed whilst he is at the end of it looking over at me, smiling and I smiled back. I couldn't help but giggle at the first time we did it as it was awkward because the doctor who walked in kept keeping an eye on me and then looking at Zach also.

But soon the doctor kept coming in once a week and then the month I didn't have him come in, he came in but holding some news which could affect my future. That's when it hit me...

" You can go home later today. " They announced with a smile on their face but am I happy ? Am I ready to leave and have no support ? I start to panic a little and they notice it. " I will leave you to let it sink in. No funny business though ! " The doctor looked at Zach and I. He has been a massive help as he makes me forget about all this shit what has happened to me and makes me think of the positive unlike my false family were they just cry whenever they see me when I lie here. " Hey ! No negative thoughts ! " Zach echos as it breaks me from dream land.

" Are you a mind reader or what ? " I questioned jokey.

" For you babe and that's it. " He winks whilst I cringe at the pet name, he has given me.  I kept quiet though to see if he notice which he didn't as he started walking towards me. " He said no.....no...no funny business. " I panicked and he knew and that gave him the confidence to smile and carry on walking. Once he had reached the side of my head. He looked down and spoke " Anyway it is not funny business as we aren't doing it ! " At his comment my cheeks started to heat up as his eyes looked around my face, his smirk getting bigger as he watched my cheeks getting redder and redder from the comment.

His face slowly come close to mine as we stared at each other waiting for someone to make the move, once he was close enough I sucked in my lips so he couldn't kiss me. " Playing hard to get. Aye ? " He questioned as once again he smirked with the to die for smile that gets every girl on their knees begging to see it once again. " I hate you. " I muttered but before putting my lips back in a safe place he locks them with his and my lips are stuck with his. At least I could enjoy the moment so I started to kiss him back.

As I started to reach up to him, the pain started to kick in. I let him go and fell back into the bed with a groan. " I am sure you hate me. " He smiled as he walked back running his fingers over his bottom and top lip. As I kept feeling his lips on top of mine like it is happening again, over and over until I get bored of it which will or should be never. " I do. Do you want me to prove it ? " I asked in a flirty way.

" Sure. Why not ? " He turned back around to face me and once again walk towards me when we got interrupted by the door opening this time it was my adoption family. They all smiled at me, for once since this accident. " That's my cue to leave. " Zach looked at me and rolled his eyes quickly before anyone could notice. I couldn't help but let a giggle pass but no one really took a notice of me. " Bye Zach. " I smiled as he was just about to shut the door.

Then there was three. Andy, Heather and I, great combination. " The doctor will be coming by soon, to tell you everything and then you will be able to come home with us. " My mind snapped back to the stranger who was my real mother who wanted to be a part of my life but my dad stopped that and she has never tried to get in contact with me. Why ? " Can you not call me darling ? Once we get home, I am going to find my mum and ask her the dying questions I wanted to know all my life which yo couldn't answer. " I spat out but not massive just a little hint but they still smiled like it was a good thing. Did they want me out of their life ? Was I that much of a problem ?

" You might want to sleep everything off first and then we will allow you to do your own thing tomorrow and find her. Yeah ? " Heather asked and all I did was nod at the idea which was good as right now I feel like I could sleep for a whole year. Once we had finished our conversation, the doctor came in. " Right so I want this to be over and done with for your benefit so you will have to take two different types of pain killers so you can use your right side soon. If you get any headache or anything to do with your head, tell Heather or Andy and they should bring you down here as that means something has happened with the brain and the nerves through your body. " He smiled and then looked at me waiting for the answer.
