Margo and Antonio's Love Story

A Plan Into Action

The next day at school, Jenny and Chase looked for Margo and Antonio and asked them if they wanted to go to the roller rink with them.

Margo thought for a moment and said " Can we bring Melissa and Angel? "

" I'm sorry, but you actually can't "

" Then we are going to have to pass. Lo siento. Maybe next time"

The couple started to walk away, when Jenny quickly thought of an excuse. " Wait! It's a - bonding thing... "

" Ya "

Margo and Antonio exchanged looks and walked back to Jenny and Chase.

" Then, we'll meet you there after school "

" Okay see you there! "

Margo and Antonio walked to their lockers. " Margo! Why did you say yes? "

" What? They just wanna bond with us! I have no idea why they would want that, but there's nothing wrong with it! "

" But what if -"

" Wait a minute. You're worried about Chase, aren't you? "

" No...maybe...yes "

" Don't worry, I'll stay away from him " Margo smiled and held his hand " And close to you "

" Ay Margo. Te amo " He kissed her on the cheek. " Come on we should tell Melissa and Angel "

" Ya ". They looked for them and told them the news.

" Why do they wanna bond with you guys? "

" Si. I don't understand "

" I don't know. I thought it was pretty weird too "

" Lo siento. But we can do something after? "

" Sure "

" Well, see you guys later "

After School...

Margo and Antonio were at a table waiting for the other two. And they sat there for a while talking about what they could've been planning to do. They finally got here after about 5 minutes.

Antonio sharply said " Why are you late? I thought you wanted to ' bond ' ". Margo nudged Antonio. She whispered " Don't be so hard on them. Maybe they really do wanna bond with us "

" Fine, but I'm not letting my guard down. "

" That's what I said when I saw you again, but here I am standing right next to you and enjoying it "

" Okay, okay, I see your point. I'll give them a chance "

" Good "

They turned back to the other two and put on their skates. They followed them onto the rink. Margo had some experience in skating, but she was still a beginner. She grabbed the rail hoping not to fall. Antonio skated over to her and carefully led her away from the rail.

" Come on, don't be scared I'll teach you "

" What if I fall? "

" I'll make sure you don't "

" Okay - Whoa! " Antonio grabbed her hand and started skating around the rink. " Antonio! I'm not ready yet! "

" I just want to let you get comfortable with it before we start. Just hold on to me and I'll give you a little ride "

" Okay..." He circled around the whole rink while both of them were smiling and laughing. Jenny stopped skating and glared at them. Chase, unaware she stopped, skated right into her.

" Chase! Get off of me! "

" Sorry. You really shouldn't have stopped " Jenny groaned. They both got up. " Come with me ".Jenny led Chase to the snack bar. "We need to do something. Now."

" You mean the plan? "

" Of course I mean the plan! " Jenny looked over to Margo and Antonio. The two were holding hands and spinning in circles. She quickly answered "Okay let's go"

They were both still talking when Jenny and Chase skated to them. " You're really getting the hang of this! "

"Really?"

"Yes! Are you sure you weren't lying about that fact that you are a beginner?"

"Maybe a little..."

"But we're dating! You can't lie to your own boyfriend!" he said as he tickled her.

"Antonio! Stop it I'm gonna - Whoa! " She started to topple over.

"I said I would make sure you wouldn't fall" He let her back up.

Jenny was getting annoyed by everything going on in between them. So she cleared her throat and said "You guys seem a little thirsty. After all, you have been skating for a while now"

Antonio smiled and said "I'm a little tired"

"Ya me too"

She started pushing Margo while she said "Then why don't you get water bottles for both of you?"

"Uh... okay"

Jase willingly followed. "And I'm gonna go...buy some candy!" As soon as Antonio heard this, he stood up straight and started to walk away. Jenny needed everything to go according to the plan, so she pretended to fall. As she hoped would happen, he turned around and gave her his hand so she could get up. She took his hand and got up. Jenny pretended to slip and ended up hugging him.

"Thanks for helping me"

"No problema. My father always said that boys have to treat ladies with a well manner"

"I wish I had a guy that thinks like you" She leaned closer to him.

"Oh..." He leaned back a little.

Margo was getting water bottles, still wobbling a little on her skates. Chase sneaked up behind her and yelled "Boo!" She fell in surprise. "Chase! What gives?! I'm still struggling with this!"

He pulled her back up "Ya I know, but I think your really cute when your mad"

"Okay, I already told you I have a boyfriend. Anyway, I have to get some water bottles for me and Antonio" She spent a few minutes buying it and when she turned around, he got behind her and did the signal (waved his hands in the air). She saw the signal and quickly said "Hey Antonio... " She kissed him. Jenny made sure to tense up, put Antonio's arms on her shoulders, and a surprised look on her face. Chase tried to hurry Margo so she could see fast enough. Margo annoyingly said "Chase? What are you -" She turned her head around. Margo nearly dropped the water bottles in her hands.

"Antonio?" He quickly broke away. "Margo! It's not what it looks like! Jenny -"

She cut him off "I'll tell her. Margo, the truth is Antonio kissed me. I'm really sorry" Antonio shot a look at Jenny."What?! No! Margo, mi amor-" Margo teared up and said "Don't say that to me!"

"I promise that's not at all what happened!"

"Ha, you know what's weird? That's what you said when I forgave you! I guess were you lying!"

"Margo, please let me explain!"

"No! Just stop! I obviously can't trust you at all! We're through!"

A small fire started inside of Antonio. If she wouldn't believe him, then he didn't need her."Okay! That's fine with me! I don't want to be with someone who doesn't believe me! Good luck finding someone who treats you as well as I did!"

"I don't need to look! I've got Chase!"

"Oh ya? Well I have Jenny!"

"Fine!"

"Whatever!"

They both yelled "Who needs you!" A single tear shed from Margo's eye as she turned around and left. Outside, she called Lucy to come pick her up. Antonio stayed a little longer, but then left as well. Stupid jerk, Margo thought.
