Tears and Jealousy

Margo's House...

Margo quickly ran to her room, trying to wipe away her tears. Lucy tried to catch up with her, but Margo ran too fast. Lucy knocked on her bedroom door."Margo, sweetie? What's wrong?"

She yelled through the door "Nothing mom!" Margo started silently crying into her pillow. Agnes walked up to Lucy and asked, "Where's Margo?"

"She's in her room"

"Okay thanks!"

Lucy picked her up and said "Agnes, sweetie, I don't think you should go in there right now"

"Why not?"

Lucy bent down."Margo's a little sad"

"Why?"

"I'm not exactly sure"

"Oh okay. Is there anything I can do?"

"I don't think so. But you can help me get her to talk to me!"

"Okay!" Agnes stayed with Lucy and held her unicorn in her arms. Lucy knocked on the door again."Margo, if you let me in, we can talk about it if you like?"

"I don't wanna talk about it"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to remember it"

"It's okay we don't have to talk about it, but at least let me comfort you"

"Okay..." Margo opened the door and walked back to her bed."Margo, please tell me what happened. Maybe I can help in some way"

"Ya! And maybe you'll stop thinking about it!"

Margo thought for a moment. Maybe them should tell her. There's nothing wrong with it. At least nothing that I can think of."Okay. Well, Jenny, Chase, Antonio and I went to the roller rink"

"ya"

"And Antonio and I skated for a while, and then we got a little thirsty, so I left for a minute to go get us some drinks"

"ya"

Margo teared up again."And then, when I came back, he was kissing Jenny..." She started crying into her pillow again. Agnes hugged her.

"Oh Margo, that's horrible! Is there anything I can do?"

Margo got up and said "No...nobody can do anything..."

Antonio's House...

Antonio's bedroom door was locked. He didn't want anyone to bother him. Angel couldn't stand to see him like this."Antonio, what is wrong? What happened in the roller rink?"

"Nada!"

"Antonio, don't lie to me! I know something happened! Now tell me!"

"I don't want to talk about it!"

Angel and Antonio's uncle, Pepe, came through the hallway."Angel, what's wrong with Antonio?"

"I don't know. He won't tell me."

"Antonio, hijo, porfavor what is wrong?"

"I said I don't want to talk about it!"

Angel butted in "Antonio, why won't you tell us?"

"Because I don't want to! Now go away!"

Pepe turned to Angel."Lo siento, Angel. There is no way I can make him talk"

"That's okay, Uncle Pepe. I have to go text a friend anyway"

"Okay"

Angel went in her room and picked up her phone. She found Melissa's contact and texted: Something's wrong with Antonio

Melissa: Really? What's wrong???

Angel: Idk can you check on Margo?

Melissa: Sure hold on a min

Melissa texted Margo: R u okay???

Margo: Not really...

Melissa: What happened???

Margo: I don't really want to talk about it

Melissa: Margo!!!

Margo: Okay fine! Antonio kissed Jenny at the roller rink. then we broke up

Melissa: Really?!

Margo: that's what i saw

Melissa: Listen, i will talk to u later

Margo: k bye

Melissa got back to Angel. She texted: She said that they broke up!

Angel: this is horrible what r we gonna do?

Melissa: idk but we'll see tomorrow bye

Angel: bye

The Next Day At School...

Margo tried her best to stay away from Antonio. As did he. But Margo realized that they shared so many classes. They even have lockers close to each other. So you can imagine how hard it was avoiding each other. Antonio was at his locker quickly grabbing his stuff. Jenny walked toward him and said, "Hey, baby!"

Margo clenched when she heard Jenny call Antonio ' baby '. Yes I know he's not mine anymore, Margo thought, and I don't care that he's with another girl...but why do I feel angry and hurt when they're together?

"Hola guapa"

"So you know how the prom is in like, 3 days?"

"yes"

"Well, since we're together, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?"

"Of course. I'll meet you at the prom"

"Great! I'll see you there, love!"

Antonio slammed his locker shut and quickly left to his next class. Melissa watched him leave. She turned to Margo and said "Are you okay about all this?"

Margo held back her tears and quietly said "Ya. I don't need him anyways" She walked to her class.

Angel walked to Melissa. "Wow. Margo's really sad"

"Ya. And Antonio, he seems a little... weird"

"Si"

"I think I'm gonna visit Margo at her house after school"

"Okay. Adios!"

Just as they turned to leave, they saw Chase with Margo. It looked like they were talking to each other, so Angel and Melissa got closer to listen. "So, Margo, you wanna go to the prom with me?"

"Uhh... sure"

"Awesome! See you later, babe" He kissed her on the cheek and left. Margo usually blushed when Antonio kissed her, but she didn't do anything when Chase did.

"Melissa! Look!" Angel whispered. Antonio was hiding by the doorway of his class. They kept staring for a little longer. He looked in pain. They noticed a single tear run down his cheek. Then he left.

"Wow. They're both really upset"

"Si. Well, I have to go. See you later"

"Okay bye!"

Why does it hurt so bad, if I don't even love him anymore? Margo thought. It was the now the middle of the night. She couldn't sleep. The same went for Antonio. I can't let it show, but I wish we were still together...
