Chapter 7

(Jade's POV)

I woke up on something soft and I felt a numbness and looked behind me to see my wings bandaged along with my both my arms. That's when I remembered yesterday's events. I cried softly feeling tears roll down my cheeks. I no longer had a home and certainly wasn't going back because over three quarters of the population is dead because of me. Even my own dragons are dead. The loneliness feels like a dark cloud. It feels like I will never find a way out. I slowly curled up into a tight ball just wanting this all to end. I wish I could turn back time so I could prevent this from happening.

When I stopped crying out my sorrow I slowly uncurled my body and looked around at my surroundings. It was a beautiful grassy area that seemed also magical in a way. It looked like a breath of a perfect spring day.

I then felt furry paws wrap around my waist. "How are ya feeling Sheila ?" Bunny asks and I look up "I've been better Bunny." "I know ya will love but we should plan our next move soon." Bunny says making me sigh do I really want to continue fighting.

I lost everything I know and love along with everyone. I was kicked off the island I once called home. It's now my time to strike back and I will do it alone. "Bunny this is a fight I have to do alone." I say and he gave me a shocked look.

"Sheila I won't let you fight them alone and neither will the others. Your a guardian and not only that I love ya Sheila and I have since we first met." Bunny says before grabbing my waist and tilting my chin up and our lips connected in a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck to deepen our kiss.

Eventually we pulled away and pressed our foreheads together. Now I know Bunny won't let me go off and fight the battle on my own but I may not give him or the others a chance to stop me from going on my own.
