Chapter 4

(Jade's POV)

Seconds later we're on the move to the far end of North's workshop. "We have no time to waste. Everyone to the sleigh." North said before entering a room and inside was his sleigh. I was surprised. "You love the sleigh no ?" North asked me putting a hand on my shoulder. "Honestly I was expecting something smaller and less durable." I say and frostbite flew up behind me. "you should really go for ride in it." He said trying to push me in. "No thanks frostbite I have my own flight transportation." I say and before he could say anything one of my dragons appeared. It was Sky's mother and my best flyer Star. "Hey Star thank you for coming." I say politely.

"No problem mistress." she replies back and I hop on her back and notice everyone in the sleigh except for Bunny. "Bunny you can fly with me if you don't want to go in the sleigh." I offer quietly and I think everyone is surprised by this because Bunny actually took my offer. He climbs on and holds onto my waist tightly. I guess Bunny really hates flying because whenever I spun through the clouds he would squeeze my waist harder making me blush madly each time.

I smiled when I saw the sleigh do flips in the air. I then saw a portal appear and raced through only to be shocked. Nightmares were taking all of Tooth's workers. The question is why. I mean they did this a while back and Pitch was deep underground until now apparently.

That's when a few ghouls were fired. I had Ember take them out with one shot. Star then proceeded to cover me and I was thankful because I managed to rescue a couple of Tooth's workers. I also helped the guardians out by covering them.

When the fight was over most of the small workers were gone. It's like they disappeared into oblivion. That's when I heard a sinister laughter. It was the type of laughter that would give someone a nightmare and only one person I knew would make that laughter for the fun of it. It was my uncle Pitch Black.

"Looks like my diversion worked. I got the big 6 all together." My uncle said as he appeared out of no where by jumping out of the shadows. That's when he spotted me. "What's this. My niece Jade. Since when are you friends with them." I just shrugged not really knowing what to say. "Well if you don't know I'll just ignore you for now. I have something much bigger in store for you my dear Jade." He said before floating above all of us then disappearing back to where he came from.

I have to say his words hit me hard. I looked over and saw the others looking at me. "Are you alright sheila ?" Bunny asks pulling me closer to him. "Yeah I'm fine." I respond calmly because I was so used to being ignored and treated like an outcast. Even with the other spirits I wasn't well known or liked. I realised the two fairies I had saved and Tooth was over joyed.

"I would hate to break up this happy moment but Jade do you know what Pitch is planning ?" Jack asked and I got a look from everyone. I shook my head saying no because I had no idea what was going to happen next. Or what my uncles were up to. All I know is that it was going to be bad and probably deadly.
