The next morning, all of the gang members were eating breakfast peacefully, because we had finished off most of our important projects.

"You two get the week off," Tom, the gang director, looked up at me and Jack.

"Why don't we get to take if off too, Tom?" Luke complained. Him and his partner, Michael weren't allowed to take a break until they finished a chapter of their training. They were both young, only 18. Unlike me, Luke had actually joined the gang because of his own will, and the fact that his dad used to be a part of it.

"They have worked their asses off the whole month, Luke." Tom sighed. To him, Luke and Michael were hyper children.

Jack looked over at me and had a look on his face that I knew very well. Every time we get a 1 week break, we would go over to the suburbs where we had a house, and participate in the local parties.

I haven't really changed so much since high school, I hated going to parties and drinking and dancing, but being with Jack and my old friends made it exceptional.

2 years ago, after I told Alex about what happened with the stalker, he met Jack, and they became friends right away. During that time I didn't know anyone in the gang that well, and Jack became my first friend along with a girl called Jenna.

So, by the look on Jack's face, I knew that he wanted to explore Baltimore's nightlife with Alex and Lisa.

"Again?" I whined at him but I knew that we had no other choice.

Going out of town on vacation wasn't really that easy for us, because even though the gang may seem like all we do is good, there are a few exceptions.

In the history of this facility, there have been criminals, robberies, prostitution, murder, drugs, etc., so even though the current group isn't that bad, the government is weary of us.

After breakfast, Jack and I headed back to the room to get packed up.

"I'm glad that you agree on my plan, Char." Jack teased.

I scowled. "Don't you think Rian would be able to make us some fake documents and passports? We would be able to go anywhere. Besides, we always do that to execute projects in other states and countries."

"Yeah, he would easily be able to do that, but what about your friends? That you love so much and didn't notice that I sedated you and dragged you off of their lawn? They're my friends too now and I wanna hang out with them." Jack pulled a suitcase out of the closet and began to fill it with our stuff.

I sighed, we always had this conversation, and I loved spending time with my friends, but I wanted to try something different for once, but Jack never listens.

"I'm sorry, babe. I love you. Next time I promise we will go wherever you want. Just this time let's go back to the old routine, alright?" He put his long arms around me and kissed my forehead.

"Yeah," I shrugged.

About an hour later of throwing clothes at each other, we finished our packing. I decided to call Alex and tell him that we were coming over for a week.

"Did you get signed off of the gang business yet, Charlotte?" Alex happily yelled into the phone after the first ring.

"Not signed off, but we're on break again." I laughed. Alex has always been able to put me in a good mood.

"Of course you did. Did you kill anyone today?" Alex asked this question everyday, I guess my job excited him.

"It's 11 a.m, Gaskarth. No, I haven't killed anyone today." Just as I said this, Jack walked into the room and realized that I was on the phone, so he snuck up behind me, and yelled something into the speaker.
