(Alex's p.o.v)

It's been a few days since I was kidnapped for a night in that gang house. While it was happening, I don't think much about it and thought it would just be simple, but now I'm starting to wonder.

Why would they shoot me in the arm just so they could ask me some questions? I don't think I ever had anything against them or anything. Why did they choose me?

As I came up with more possible questions to ask Jack and Charlotte for when they returned, my phone began to ring.

I glanced at the number, which had the local area code, but it wasn't in a contact and I didn't recognize it.

I picked up the call and spoke. "Hello?"

There was a shuffling sound on the other line, "Alex?"

"Yes..."

"This is Mike, remember? And um, I said that I would need you to come to the house if we needed something from you. So can you come over in an hour? Thanks, bye." The call disconnected.

I thought about it, if I should go to them or not. Charlotte warned me not to get involved with any of this gang business, but I kind of needed some answers. Maybe these 'West' people could give them to me.

"Babe?" I heard someone call out from the kitchen.

I walked over to find Lisa eating her breakfast, but she had a worried look on her face.

"Are you going somewhere?" She asked, swirling the cereal around with her spoon.

"Uh..." I didn't know what to tell her, she probably wouldn't want me to go to that place again.

But, I decided that it would be better not to lie to her. "Yes, I am. The people at that gang house who kidnapped me called me over." I said awkwardly.

Lisa's facial expression changed from concerned to angry. "No, you are not going there alone."

I didn't know how to react to that, so I scratched my head. "Do you wanna come? But you shouldn't, because they would probably like, hurt you."

"I don't care about that, but I'm coming with you. You know that saying, 'we go together or we don't go down at all'? We should try to live by it so we don't die alone now that you want to associate yourself with these gangs." Lisa was mad at me, I could tell.

"I'm sorry, it's just- they'll probably kill me if I don't come, it's not that I want to." I tried my best to act sincere.

She sighed, "Alright, Alex. Just, give me a few minutes to get ready and we'll be out."

Like she said, we were later sitting in the car, on the way to the house thing.

When I got up to the door, I didn't know whether to knock or ring the doorbell, but I went along with the second choice, since these doors were probably thick.

Mike opened the door, with a confused look on his face.

"Who's this?" He looked at Lisa, who took a step back due to the intensity of his gaze.

"Um, this is my girlfriend. She didn't let me go alone," I gathered my words as I started to feel intimidated as well. These gang members all had so many tattoos and really looked like they would kill someone if they got in their way.

"Hm, she can go sit with my girlfriend Alysha." Mike let us into the mansion and some bleach blonde came and showed Lisa to another room.

"Alright man, let me show you why we needed you," Mike led me into another room upstairs, but there was people.

They all had the same gang appeal to them, but these west people were a lot scarier than those who worked at Charlotte's place.

"This is Alex, guys. Alex, this is Vic, that's Jordan, Austin, Tino and Jaime. The others you'll meet later." Mike gestured for me to sit down on one of the couches.

"Hey bud, do you know why you're here?" Vic grinned at me, but I wasn't sure if it was real or not.

"Uh, no... you're not gonna kill me right?" I laughed nervously, which they caught onto and soon the room was filled with deep laughter.

"Nah, we just wanted to ask you a favor. Find out about Charlotte a bit." The guy with weird, spiky black hair said to me.

"What about her?"

"Her childhood and her parents most likely. What can you tell us now?" Another guy, with bright green eyes, asked.

I thought about this, I didn't want to betray Charlotte and Jack, they told me to stay away from these people. I hated lying, so I decided that I would just tell them as little as possible.

"I've known Charlotte my whole life, our parents were best friends in college," I began, and one of the guys started typing it down on his laptop.

"Her dad died before she was born, but her mom made enough money as a nurse to handle finances," I kept saying what I told them before, and some of the more unimportant stuff.

When I was done, they started asking me questions.

"Her dad isn't dead, you know." One of them said, which confused me. He then showed me an article, that her dad was the treasurer of New York and that he's in jail now, and Charlotte is responsible for it but spending money for herself.

After reading it, I was in shock. "What the fuck?"

"Yeah, she even knows that her dad's alive now. She knows a lot of stuff actually, that we could have known by now too, if it weren't for our damned actors to fuck up." Mike banged his arm on a table out of anger.

"I don't mean to be rude, but uh, why do you guys need to know this stuff?" I chose out my words carefully.

Mike glared at me for a second. "Those people in the North have done bad things in the past. Charlotte is just their new toy, and they're using her so they can win over all of this."
