~Night time~
*Steins POV*
I can't help but think about my little girls' safety....she's not who she says she is...and it's a big secret to hide...what I can figure out is when she used Soul Mimic it's something only ....They...can use like her mother...I'm actually surprised that she can hide that part of her soul it's almost too powerful....and I'm just wondering just how long can she hide it? What will happen when she'll have to use her powers? Then again there is Kid's offer....I don't know what if she hates me for it?...but it is for her own good...Besides she'll be under good surveillance with Kid...I don't fully trust him but he's one I can count on...that and they are somewhat evenly matched with strength...somewhat...I'll accept his offer then...for my little girls' sake..
Stein gets up and walks to Kid's house and knocks on the door..
Kid hears the knock on the door and he opens it to see the Professor.
Stein-" Good you're still awake we need to talk about what we said earlier is that okay with you?"
Kid-" Yeah I was thinking of when you would make up your mind Professor , so do we have an agreement?"
Stein- " It's best if we talked alone...is that alright with you?"
Kid- "Sure come in... Liz and Patty are already sleeping so we're alright.."
*Stein nods in response*
Stein-" I'm only agreeing to this because she's the only thing left I have dear to me and I don't really trust you but promise me with your life that nothing will come to harm her under your protection..understand?"
Kid-" This is rather a one sided agreement...what if under these circumstances something were to happen?.."
Stein-" What do you mean?"
Kid-" What If she starts to like someone and she starts rebelling in a way? Like telling me to bug off..?"
Stein-" It doesn't matter what my daughter is special and even if something like that were to happen I still want you there with her at least from a distance..."
Kid-" I do know your hiding something from me.., but when the time comes either one of you will tell me right?"
Stein- " Yes we will, for now let's just focus on (Y/N).
Kid-" Understood Professor.."
They both shake hand and nod then Stein gets up and leaves...
Stein-" Goodnight Kid and Thank you...honestly only you can do this.."
Kid-" No problem Professor and Goodnight..."
~The Next Morning~
As I woke up, it turns out that (Bf/N) was still asleep , so I decided to make breakfast and feed Lavender and Plurmp. As I looked out from the window Death City was rather calm and not taken over by those monsters from your past long ago...I sighed just thinking about it just how cruel the real world is...This city is nothing compared to the others during your travel...luckily enough you made it here safely...
Suddenly your phone rings and it's your Dad.
Stein- "Good morning my little bundle of science"
You-*chuckes* Good morning dad
Stein- "y/n when you come to school lord death has to speak with you and your weapon it's a matter of importance."
You- "Alright dad thanks for the heads up bye love you "
Stein- *he smiles*" Bye dear love you and please be careful..."
You-" I will Dad "
After hanging up you pawn at what your dad just told you...what could death possibly need you for?
A few minutes later (Bf/N) wakes up and she yawns.
(Bf/N)- "Good morning (Y/N)"
You- "Morning sleepy head, hurry up and get ready we gotta go and there's your breakfast on the table."
(Bf/N)- "okay and thanks"
After getting ready it was barely 7:30am, so both you and your partner both go to the death room.
After going in you see Kid, Liz, and Patty along with Death himself.
You- "Good morning everyone,"
They all reply "Morning"
Death- " Now young (Y/N) your father has told me about a special request.
You-" What special request?"
Death-" That my son watch over you for the time being of your stay at the academy."
You-"I was never told anything about this at all and what's the meaning of this?"
Kid- " The Professor had a gut feeling when we fought...that people will try to do anything just to test you since you are his daughter and not only at that...you seem to be a special target of some sorts yet I don't know why....but your father told me that I would be the only one fit to keep guard over you."
You-*sighs*..." what's the use of me fighting over this if I have no say so...against when my dad is right..fine..Just keep your distance...
Kid- *smiles* " Don't worry you'll be in good hands.."
*you roll your eyes* "whatever.."
Death-"Good now that , that is settled I'll inform your father later. I have a mission for both of you it's more or less a challenge since it deals with some weird monsters rampaging a small town...some said that they are clowns but I assure you that both of you can take care of this situation? "
Kid-" You don't have to tell me twice I can take care of it..."
You-*Gulps*..."D-did you just say C-clowns?"
Death-" Yes why is there a problem?"
You-"N-no!! Of course not I'll be fine.."
Death- "Alrighty then get going you two the city isn't going to save itself ..good luck!!" *he waves as we leave the room*
The town was rather far though I had to run to catch up to kid flying on his skateboard...boy what I'd do to fly or something...
Kid-" How are you holding up?"
You-" Well I'm fine...says the person flying while I'm running to catch up!!!"
Kid-" Alright keep on we're almost there.."
You-*mumbling* "You little brat.."
Kid-"What was that?"
You-"N-Nothing!!"
Kid-"Right..."
