Hello my dear readers!! 🥰🥰I would like to say that I'm very sorry 🥺🥺for not being able to update this book...with the virus going on and of course college online🙄 ...has been a very difficult process for myself..I've been wanting to update, but have been having bad writers block. 😣Realizing that my updating may help me cope with some stress as well as coming up with new ideas is what I aim to do. Giriko- "Yeah...she is...I don't understand how...if Akane said that she saw her die with her own eyes..."

Stein-"She must've ...set up the whole thing....to try to get back to me...."

Giriko-"What do you mean ??"

Stein-"Well you see right after Akane was born...Lisa and I ....our relationship was going south...Sure I was very happy that my daughter was born...but having the fact that her mother wanted to make her into a weapon...to get at those that did her wrong....was unjust for my little girl..."

Giriko-"Then why did you leave her with her mother?"

Stein-"I had to...it pained...me so much...I couldn't stand it...but Lisa knew she couldn't do it without me..."

Giriko-"What do you mean she couldn't do what without you??"

Stein-"Well Lisa was experimenting with Akane...she was just a baby....*clenches fists tightly*.....

Giriko-"What happened..." *asks worriedly*

Stein-"Lisa had...tapped into her soul...and tore it....she was in so much pain...I yelled her to stop...but she had me pinned with her magic to the wall..."
"She said that it would be the potential for her to become like her own mother..."
*Stein starts to tear up...*

Giriko-"H-how could she do that to her own blood....w-what happened next..."

Stein-"Akane had started to fade away...and she was dead in just merely seconds..."

Giriko-"What!! How is she still alive then??"

Stein-" I had to sacrifice myself..in order to save my own daughter...I gave half of myself to Akane and kept the other part of her soul into me..."

Giriko-"But...that's impossible!!!"

Stein-"It was...but something else happened..while I was doing that to Akane...her soul had reacted to mine and turned red....her heart started to beat again and as she opened her eyes slowly...she smiled..."

Giriko-"Wow...that's something...I guess it's true what they say...a fathers love for their daughter truly does go far..."
"Uhh...but how does she have that screw in her head like you??"

Stein-"Oh....that was a mini side experiment that I had when she was sleeping...since...she couldn't really keep herself in check...or her abilities....the screw is like a monitor of sorts...I get reports of how she is managing to control herself..."

Giriko-"So...like a power balance...or a report card???"

Stein-"Precisely..."

Giriko-"Hmmm...well that makes sense..."

Stein-"Yes it does..." *laughing sarcastically*

Giriko-"Yup...she's just like you in more weird ways than one...especially her sarcasm..."

Stein-"Oh that's just her in general.
Giriko...I honestly don't understand how she can control her insanity sometimes..."

Giriko-"Yeah...that is a mystery...isn't it.."

Stein-"Yes...honestly sometimes it worries me..." *Says worriedly*

Giriko-"Don't worry your daughter is stronger than you think..*smiles showing his sharp teeth*

Stein-"Heh..in a weird way your words seem to put me at ease a bit..."

Giriko-" You know...there's something special about Akane that no other meister has..."

Stein-"Yes...I see what you mean...just make sure no one else knows..."

Giriko-"Understood..."

~Meanwhile with Akane~
Akane walked to her apartment with Lena and Jack. As they approached their home Kid was standing near the door alone with Liz and Patty.

Len and Jack sense me the air thicken as they approached Kid and looked at Akane...She wasn't in such a cheery mood to see him...

Jack-*Sighs*...are you two going to fix things or stare each other to death?

Len-"Liz ..Patty we should go inside and let them talk alone."

*They both nod and walk in*

Kid-"So are you going to tell me what's been going on or keep that a secret to?"

Akane-"Kid Im not in the best of moods right now please..."

Kid-"I was asked personally to look after you...next thing I know you disappeared into the night and didn't even bother telling me anything?"

Akane-"Kid it was a mission from your father, there wasn't much to say."

Kid-"Not much to say?...you come back with Giriko...he's wounded obviously a lot happened...something has changed in your eyes as If you're scared of something that is going to happen.."

Akane-"I-is it really that noticeable?"

Kid-"Would I ever lie to you?"

Akane-*sighs*.... "S-someone who I thought was gone...isn't gone at all...they had been in hiding until now they decided to return...to make my life a living hell again..."

Kid-"I'm not too sure in who you mean, but remember I'm always here to help you with anything...*he hugs her tightly*

Akane-"Im sorry..for being so secretive with you...I really don't mean to at all..but..I do it for your safety.."

Kid-"I understand...you've been through a lot."

Akane-"Thank you.."

The creepy moon 🌝 was stalking upon the two...as it stared at the two little people down there...he knew something was up..

*Akane raised her head from kids shoulder and cups his face in her hands and kissed him*

*Kid was thrown in a trance as he deepened the kiss with Akane and held her tightly*

*Akane felt as if she was safe in his arms...but she knew this time with Kid was precious...she knew falling in love with him was...deadly...and that could cost her...her own life..*

Lisa-"Well...well...well...my little star...I see you've taken an interest to no one other than Death's own son...how sweet...*Stern* happiness doesn't always last forever..."
*She then disappeared in the darkness with the cover of night with a plan to destroy those who have defied her...*
