SEEING BLIND

34| The Blind Boy's Bear.

Luke was bored; excruciatingly and overwhelming bored. It had been three days since they got back from the beach house and everyone was spending time with their family, but Luke's family didn't want to spend time with him.

He was so bored he was tempted to read a book if he could obviously. He was just lying on his bed and listening to the same albums he's always listened too, he was also starting to get bored of them.

All he wanted to do was spend time with Annie, doing something fun, but after finally getting that stupid annulment it's been pretty awkward. It's their six month anniversary in a few days and Luke has no idea what he's going to get her, or do with her, that is if they're talking by then.

Luke decided to make the first move and call her, mumbling to himself what he was going to say until it sounded good.

"Hey," Annie spoke, her voice sounded chipper, which was a good thing for Luke, at least she was having a nice time. "What's up?"

"Oh, not much, just wanted to talk to you, I'm really bored." He whined, rolling onto his back on his bed.

The weather had changed drastically since the beach house, it was no longer raining and actually they were currently undergoing a heatwave. An extremely hot one too. If he could, Luke would lounge around his room naked, but he would have no idea if anyone would see him and that's the last thing he wanted. Instead he's wearing just some swimming shorts, they had a bit of a breeze to them at least.

"Did you want to come over? My grandparents are round, and we were going to this carnival thing not too far away, you can come with us if you want?" Annie was excited, she loved her grandparents and she knew they'd love Luke too.

Swiftly agreeing, Annie had decided to walk down and meet Luke before her grandparents could get to him. They were lovely people, but they had their own type of humour which could be seen as rather offensive.

Upon arriving, Annie could smell the beginnings of a barbecue, it smelt amazing but at the moment she was rather scared of Luke's parents, especially after the trip and he was beyond upset. She knew it was her fault, but Andre kept trying to persuade her it wasn't, he often got upset when he thought too much, but Annie didn't believe him.

Knocking on the door three times, Annie rocked on the ball of her feet waiting for her beloved boyfriend to appear. When she saw his name come up on her phone before her stomach clouded over with butterflies, she missed him a lot more than she should, and she loved having him around.

The door swung open and Jack beamed at the small girl, suddenly aware how out of Luke's league she was. He found it funny, how his douche of a brother would be able to pull someone like Kelly when he could actually see, but now that he's blind he gets the best looking person in the neighbourhood.

"Hey, Luke's in his room. Are you staying?" He smiled, opening the door wider for the girl to step in.

"Uh, no, we were going to go to this carnival just outside of town. You can come if you want?" If she was being honest, she didn't want Jack to come. Don't get her wrong, he was a lovely person, but she wanted to spend the rest of the day with her boyfriend, needing some quality time with him.

"Nah it's alright, I'll let you two have fun." He winked, closing the door behind her and going back outside with the rest of his family.

Annie wondered upstairs and into his room, seeing him just in his underwear as he presumably searched for more clothes. When he pulled out some black skinny jeans Annie cringed, even the mere thought of him wearing them made her feel even more hot.
