SEEING BLIND
—5| Fucking Amazing.
"Well..." Ashton started as both him and Luke sat on Luke's bed. As soon as Luke got home he text Ashton using Siri, something he never gave enough credit to when he could see.
Normally when with someone, Luke will get them to text for him, but when's he's alone he resorts to Siri on his IPhone. It's a lot simpler but sometimes he doesn't want to be talking to his phone when in public.
Ashton also set up a way for Siri to read out whenever he got a text, then Luke would ask her to read it out and she would. It was very clever really, and Luke was so glad they lived in a generation of technology which could satisfy the needs of a blind man.
Immediately Ashton drove to Luke's, he was already in the car after dropping Rosie off, So he thought he may as well visit the boy.
"...how was it?" Ashton continued, eating a few crisps from the bag, and sitting cross legged on the bed. Luke, however, was lying with his upper torso off the bed, head touching the floor as his feet were on the bed. He can't remember how he got into this position, or why he was still in it, but he was still giddy from the whole night.
"So fucking amazing. She's amazing, it was so fucking amazing Ashton you have no idea." Luke started, waving his arms around and dragging them down his face. Luke picked his sunglasses up and put them back on, even if they kept falling off.
"It's sounds like you had a great time-"
"It was more than great! It was fucking amazing! What's better than amazing? Fantastic, brilliant, the best thing that's ever happened to me..." Luke sighed, thinking about the night.
After they left the restaurant and started to walk, they had the best conversation Luke has ever had, they started telling each other more about one another. Luke learned so many things and he was so happy that they got passed 'the basics' stage. Now it was time for the detail.
Luke was so ready and excited for the detail.
"I just want to spend every minute with her, no matter what she does she's just- ugh- she's just amazing Ashton, but I hardly have any lessons with her in school and we don't do anything afterwards... I doubt she would want to do anything anyway."
"Stop saying she doesn't like you, she obviously does. Whenever you speak, she gets this cute blush on her cheeks and she's always looking at you." Ashton pulled Luke up from his lying down position, making him sit up right as the both of them started eating chips.
"Now I'm imagining her blushing and it's so fucking adorable I just want to squeeze her." Luke chuckled, rubbing his face again as he thought about what he said; what he has become?
He's not the soppy type. At least he wasn't, but ever since Annie he can't help but feel so many (manly) butterflies all over his skin. They weren't just butterflies, they were birds, swans even, flying all inside him and making every inch of him flutter.
He felt like an idiot, for falling for a girl he didn't even know what she looked like. At least he got a feel for her, literally. That was probably the nicest thing anyone had ever done for Luke, even before his eyesight people would just use him. His friends would use him for popularity. His parents would use him to brag. His coach would us him for trophies. His girlfriend used him for sex.
Now that Luke thought about it; everybody used him. He hated knowing that, everybody used him. He was just some flesh on some bones that could benefit other flesh on bones. He was irrelevant and so were all of them, every single person who manipulated him to think he was worth something.
