Chapter 31 - Saying goodbye to Grit and the flight to LA

Raven's POV

The next morning I woke up refreshed and ready to speak to Grit about leaving early I just wanted to be with Dylan, me and him and his dogs a lovely little family and then we will add Hoechlin and Malia but to start with I just wanted to wake him up with a kiss.

So I just leant over him and he was snoring and I kissed his eyelids and he opened them slowly and smiled at me "morning sunshine, so you still feel the same way you want to leave with me for LA?" "I am and will speak to Grit this morning she will understand we were going to the hotel tonight anyway but now instead I am heading to America with you" and before I could do anything he was on top of me kissing me "wow down boy" and he laughed looking at me and said "I love you so much birdie" "I doubt it but we will see" "why do you say things like this" "it's my defense in case things go south" "will never happen" he said kissing me again.

I managed to push him off me and then I lay my head on his chest and said "just let me lie here for a while ok? "Ok" he said cuddling into me and I just moaned in happiness and he held me closer "we can do this every morning when we are in LA and I for one can't wait" he held me closer and finished with "how do you feel about it Raven?" "I can't wait to start this I love you more than you know" "not possible" I giggled and looked up in his caramel coloured eyes and smiled "time to get up I think" and with that we both nodded and got up.

As we left the bedroom we bumped into Grit "morning sweetie" I said and she just looked at me and said "yeah morning hon" "I think I need to tell you something hon" "oh what?" "Would you mind if we left early?" "No not at all I will miss you but fuck me Raven it's America you go girl" I just hugged her and turned and looked at Dylan "you better book them flights then" "of course your wish is my command" and with that the iPad came out and within half an hour the flights were booked for 5pm and I was going to America.

We had breakfast with Grit and then packed and by dinner time we were out again having lunch with Grit and then back to hers for our goodbyes and then off to the airport.  As we left Grits apartment I pulled Dylan to one side "we need to get something for Grit for her looking after us" "I already thought about it.  I have booked her tickets for LA and paid her to go business class the tickets are on her bed" "OMG you are the best" "I know hon that's why you love me" I just laughed and hugged him "she will go mad but thanks and you are so right I do love you" and then I kissed him.

We got to the airport at 3pm and said our goodbyes and cried a bit then I whispered in Grits ear "there is a present for you on your bed, all I am saying ok" and with that we went into the airport.  Found a nice area in a bar after going through departures and Dylan got his phone out "I need to message Tyler H is that ok?" "Of course it's fine I am just reading a fanfic" and that was that then he grabbed my hand "all done sweetie" I was so into my fanfic I just nodded and he laughed "it's ok enjoy the story" I looked up and winked at him. 

Time passed and our flight was called and I took hold of Dylan's hand and we disappeared down to the gate and I realized it was a small plane" we have to fly to Munich then to LA" he said seeing the question in my face I just smiled "ok was just caught out a bit" "this airport isn't big enough for the Long haul flights" "yeah ok I get it" I said laughing "I am having a blonde moment" and with that we both laughed.

We only waited for 10 mins then they started to load the plane it wasn't even half full and I had a window seat again which I loved but the flight was only 30 minutes long and then we were down and heading towards our next plane "so do I have a window seat again on this plane?" I asked "yeah and a pod as we are going business class" "what really?" "Yeah I am treating you" "wow" was all I said and we continued towards the gate "we will be interviewed I think" I said "no I don't think so" but then we came up at the back of the queue for our plane and I smiled "interviewed I told you" I said smuggly and yes we were asked what we were going to America for and Dylan proceeded to give them every detail of our fledgling relationship as I just went red with embarrassment and cringed while still smiling and eventually we got through and I was laughing "why are you laughing?" "That was funny you pretty much told them everything about us apart from the sex and it was funny" "oh shut up" he said and went in a huff, I found that quite cute but I left him to it for a while.
