Toby didn't wake up for the entire ride home to the Slender Mansion. However, we did run into some trouble when we passed by the mechanic where we stole our car from. He jumped in front of the car, and I hit the brakes hard to avoid running over him. A police officer tapped on the window. "Please lower your window, I need to talk to the three--" he paused as he saw Toby unconscious in the back, "--four of you."

"Should I?" I asked Masky.

"I don't think so," he replied. "We all have our masks on, so they probably recognize us as killers from the area, or at the very least the people who kidnapped Toby Rogers."

I bit my lip. "You're right. Should I just run them over, and then we jump out and run?" I asked.

"It's either that or we talk to them," Hoodie said from the back seat.

"Okay. I'm going to run over them, and then on the count of three we all jump out. Hoodie, get Toby, and once we're a safe distance away Masky and I will help you carry him. Get your bags on now," I said. Everyone sneakily slipped on their bags. The police officer rapped on the window again.

"Open up now!" he shouted, getting irritated. I grit my teeth, and then backed up. "What are you doing?" he asked, walking towards us. The mechanic was already in front of the car as well, so I hit the gas and felt two sickening thumps as they hit the hood of the car.

"One, two, three!" I said, and we all jumped out, Hoodie slinging Toby over his shoulder. "Run!" I screamed, as the officer said something into his walkie talkie, presumably calling for backup.

We all sprinted towards the forest, and then Hoodie passed Toby to Masky. I could feel my lungs straining for air. We just need to get to the edge of the forest, I told myself, Then Slenderman can teleport us back to the mansion. Finally, I could see the edge of the dark forest. Mask and Hoodie were struggling to keep up. "Pass me Toby!" I yelled, and just as I caught hold of the surprisingly heavy Toby, I began to hear sirens extremely close behind us. I could see flashing lights as well. We darted into the woods, and sent a mind message. Quick! I thought. We're being followed!

Just as the cops caught up to us and stepped out of their cars, Slenderman appeared, and teleported us all back. The last thing I saw was the confused and horrified faces of the police officers, who were completely dumbfounded by what they just saw.

We got back to Slender Mansion, and Slenderman dropped all of us on the floor of the living room. "Thank you for bringing Toby," he said stiffly. "But next time, be more careful. Do you know how many people witnessed you 'kidnapping' Toby? Or the fact that I had to rescue you from the police?"

"I'm sorry," I said sheepishly. "We weren't very careful at all. We just wanted to get Toby back to you as soon as possible."

"Thank you," he said. "Now go get changed. You all stink."

"How rude," I muttered, as I walked up the creaky stairs to my bathroom. I sniffed myself. Oof, he was right. Pretty ripe, (Y/N). As I stood there in the shower, I watched the dirt and grime get washed off of my body and flow down to the drain. I sighed.

I stepped out of the shower and rubbed my hair with a fluffy, warm towel. It felt so nice to be home again, and I couldn't want to sleep in my own bed again. I pulled on some pajamas, and clomped down the steps to get a snack. Tim and Brian were sitting at the dining table, with plates of cheesecake. "Hey, guys," I said.

"Hey," said Tim. "I see that you have finally taken a shower and are looking decent again."

"Um... Yeah," I said, grabbing a bag of chips. "Thanks?"
