The Complications In My Love Life

"Connor Thomas Stoll!" I yelled after knocking at his cabin's door repeatedly. I was wearing some simple shoes made out of ice. And I wore my dress (obviously) with a necklace that had a snowflake at the center. Nothing fancy.

Tomorrow, Leo, Connor, Annabeth and I were leaving for our quest. Leo said he had something to help us through the traveling part. Thank the gods, he can be really useful. Not trying to be mean in any words.

But like, I might not come back. I might 'die' and so, I want to have a good time today. But you know, not everything goes how I want it to go. After all, everyone hates my mom.

So anyways, Connor finally opened up. I was about to yell at him for making me stand there for 5 minutes. But before I could yell at him he grabbed my hand. Which surprised me very much. My eyes shot down to our hands and then I felt something in my other hand.

"Connor? What are you doing?" I asked. He smiled and let our hands go. I looked at my hands and 2 icy blue gloves were in my hands. They were very thin and weightless. I looked at him and hugged him.

"Thank you." I whispered in his ear. I let go and awkwardly stood there. After I quickly put my new gloves. I smiled broadly as he walked with me to the dance.

As we stepped in, we were amazed. Poseidon added many water fountains that had memories implanted on them. They turned fuzzy and then another came. One for each cabin. Mine just had the times I actually laughed. Khione was written in gold letters.

Apollo added good music. Athena added olive trees and made it a beautiful architectural place. Hephaestus made it huge enough for everyone to fit in. Aphrodite added a little place where there was slow music. Artemis added a starry night where mostly every constellations showed up on the ceiling. Demeter added a couple of fliwers here and there. It was beautiful.

I smiled at Connor as I noticed he wore a bow tie that was a shade of orange. He smiled back and dragged me to the dance pit. He started rocking out, I followed his lead. I had to admit we looked like freaks dancing around and joking like that. I started to get thirsty after around 15 minutes.

"Connor!" I yelled over the music. He looked at me and yelled back.

"What?!"

"Let's go get something to drink!" He grabbed my hand and takes me to the food area. I serve myself some punch and take a drink. I notice Connor looking sneakily at the lovers place. "I've seen that look on your face. Your planning a prank aren't you?" I ask already knowing the answer. I opens his tux from one side and takes out some whipped cream and a confetti gun.

"So yeah here's the plan. I spray whipped cream all over them and you shoot the confetti. Got it?" He asked. I nodded as he passed me some more confetti, in case I ran out.

We sneaked inside the lovers place. Connor sprayed a couple as I shot confetti at them. We did to everyone till we ran out. The only couple we didn't do was Percabeth. Connor smirked as he passed me some flowers and a necklace. He whispered the plan into my ear. He took out a some blue food coloring and a soundtrack of the little mermaid. We nodded and did what we were supposed to do.

I tapped Percy's shoulder and said,"Umm. Percy, can I talk to you. For like a sec." He nodded. I dragged him somewhere quiet as I told him to give Annabeth the flowers and the owl necklace. I told him to trust me. He nodded and walked back to Annabeth.

He gave Annabeth the flowers that were sea green and gray. She pecked his cheek and gave him the blue food coloring. Percy's face lighten upped as he saw it. He gave Annabeth the necklace and she gave him the soundtrack.

Percy quickly opened the food coloring, which sprayed his face all blue. Annabeth looked at the flowers and suddenly a spider crept out. She screamed so loud, Percy killed it right after she stopped screaming. Annabeth's necklace and Percy's were real gifts. The others were pranks.
