Maybe it was a bad idea to just leave without telling at least one of the boys where I was going. They could be worried about me right now.

Michael's POV

Was I worried about Ashton? Not really. He's old enough not to get lost in town. He has his phone with him too if he wants us to pick him up or something.

Yes, I do regret what I said...well not entirely. I was right about the part where I said that he should move on. I regret the part where I said "What's the point of reading it if you know she's dead?"....or something like that. Whatever, I just feel a but bad for saying that. He's a sensitive guy and I made him upset.

Ashton's POV

I walked around town for a bit. My feet hurt so I sat down on a bench. It began getting dark. It is 9:32 pm. I should probably start heading back to the hotel but a part of me didn't want to.Apart of me wanted to stay where I am and wait for them to come get me just to feel like maybe they missed me and wanted me to come back to the hotel instead of walking back to the hotel and have them not even ask where I was or care if I was okay or not.  Clearly, I'm still not okay yet. I'm not quite over everything but I am getting there, slowly.

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to wait for them to come for me. It is cold and I am starving. Fine. I give up. I give up on everything. I give up on  moving on. I give up on forgetting.

Some reason I was crying as I thought about everything.

As I walked back to the hotel I swear I heard someone calling my name. Nobody was near me whatsoever. Maybe I'm imagining it. I'm just stressed and I haven't eaten anything since yesterday. I tried to reassure myself that I was just imagining it. Someone called my name again. That someone sounded a lot like the boys. Maybe they are looking for me after all.

I ended up being wrong. I made it to the hotel without seeing the boys looking for me. When I got to the room we stayed in the boys were all sitting on the beds. They looked a tiny bit worried.

"Where have you been?" Luke asked standing up.

"I just went for a little walk, that's all." I said.

"A little walk?!" Luke exclaimed. "You were gone for at least eight hours."

"Well what can I say." I shrugged. "A little goes a long way."

"Whatever." Luke muttered obviously a bit annoyed. "We were worried."

"If you were just so worried why didn't you come looking for me?" I asked.

"Because we figured that you'd be back after an hour or so and maybe a little alone time is what you needed." Michael replied.

"What do you know about what need? All you know is how to make someone hate you in a matter of seconds. Oh and thanks again for pointing out that Mia is dead earlier, Captain Obvious." It felt good to let all my feelings out but it felt bad to let them out in such a negative way. The second the words left my mouth I regretted saying them.

"Listen, I don't have the faintest idea why you two are acting like you absolutely hate each other but you guys better make up and hug or whatever you guys do. " Cal snapped looking at Michael then at me.

"Fine." Michael commented. "I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry too." I apologized.

Michael walked up to me and put his arms around me, embracing me in a hug. Normally whenever they hug or have group cuddles or whatever you want to call it I think it's weird.

"Group hug!" Cal shouted and we all ended up just standing in the middle of our hotel room for two minutes just hugging.

When the hug was over there was something I needed to know.

"Did you guys yell my name earlier?" I asked and they looked at me confused.

"No." They all said together.

"Well that's weird. I swear I heard you guys saying my name earlier." I told them puzzled.

****

All of this has seemed so unreal over the past months. It seems sorta dream like. Maybe that's it. Maybe I'm dreaming. None of this can be real. I just need to wake up.
