"What was that? How will I face him again?" She took in a sharp breath.

"Damn! What if she misinterprets me? What if is she thinking that I did it intentionally? What if she said No for this marriage?" He raked his fingers through his hair.

"No! I have to say sorry. If she is thinking about these wrong things." He stood and went inside.

He saw her again sitting beside his mother. He walked towards the empty place beside her father and sat opposite to her.

His gaze was darted on her. She looked up and saw him looking at her. she immediately looked away.

"Is she ignoring me?" He thought.

"Can't he just look away? He should know what I must be feeling right now after that accidental incident." She was already feeling embarrassed and he was making her turn scarlet more.

"So...you both must have had a good time together. Do you both want to go ahead with this relation?" Anju asked seeking the much-awaited decision of them.

Sanyukta composed herself and looked at his face. He was still staring at her face.

"Sanyukta, did you like our Randhir?" Harsh probed.

Everyone's attention was on her.

"Yes..." Sanyukta answered biting her lip turning scarlet.

"Really?" Randhir jumped a little on his sit.

"Randhir, are you ready for this marria---" Renuka asked.

"More than ever, Mom." He answered before her question completed.

Their parents passed a look to each other & chuckled observing Sandhir's expressions.

"Umm...I'll just come." She quickly got up and dashed inside the kitchen.

"I'm feeling thirsty. I--" He also excused to go towards the kitchen to meet her privately.

"Let me bring you a glass of water." Anju made him sit.

"No! I mean Sanyukta is there. She will give me. You sit and relax." He said hastily and went before she could reply.

Sanyukta was standing resting her both the hands on the slab.

"Did I really say yes for this marriage?" She questioned herself.

"Yes!" Someone uttered against her left ear slowly.

She gasped and turned around. They were again so close to each other for the second time in a day.

He placed his hands on the slab caging her. Her heartbeat raced in their proximity.

"So, you liked me." He muttered looking at her but she was looking down getting all shy around him.

"When did I say that?" She asked masking her nervousness.

"When my dad asked you said yes." He frowned.

"I said yes for the marriage." She replied confidently.

"What's the difference? You are anyway going to marry me only." He said with a smirk.

"What if I like somebody else?" She smirked back.

He made a poker face.

"I know you don't otherwise you wouldn't have said yes to me." He spoke smartly.

Sanyukta removed his hand and freed herself from his cage. He stepped back.

"I'll tell you one secret." She placed her hands on his shoulder. She brought her face near his ear.

"I will be planning to escape on our wedding day." Her voice became husky.

She immediately left him to run outside. But he was quick enough to hold her hand swiftly.

He pulled her back and her back collided with his strong chest.

"Don't worry ma'am I'll escort you, where ever you want to escape." He also said almost seductively inhaling her scent, churning her insides.

She was breathing irrationally. He left her and saw her eyes were closed trying to calm herself.

He was about to step outside but came back just to plant a soft kiss on her forehead.

She opened her eyes, blinking slowly. He gained more respect in her eyes from this gesture.

"I'm sorry for what happened outside but I'm not sorry for this." He said honestly and winked at her again making her go all crimson.
