English Class and Thots

School is chaotic... as usual. I am swarmed into a tidal wave of bodies as I make my way towards first period. I walk through the hallways of excessive PDA, scents of canned axe, and giggling freshmen. I continue to tred through the cluster of curse words and bickering peers. I can't stop the continuous eye rolling Im giving to every breathing thing in this building that smells of mold and a metallic rusting. I feel an arm grab me, and just as I'm about to kill the person in cold murder I giggle to see my best friend, Daisy McCoart. She comes from a large family all connected to her grey grandma, Susan McCoart. Susan is Kettleville's very own town hero, being a life changing midwife that made house calls for years. Daisy has the red hair and brown eyes and thin nose that creates the image that every McCoart carries.

My grumpy frown suddenly turns into a wide grin as she kisses my cheek. I had always admired her ability to be so physically comfortable with everyone she meets. Sometimes it's a problem, especially when she gets upset. She doesn't mind her fist getting comfortable with someone's face.

We walk to first period arm in arm. We both have Mrs.Mckenzie for English first period. To my disappointment, it's the only class we have together. We sit in our small desk next to each other at the back of the classroom. I am a student with a perfect GPA.... I can't say the same for Daisy. She just cheats off me and the teachers are perfectly content with our set up. That's why no one objects as we take our places in the corner of the space, farthest from the the teacher. Mrs. Griffith just shrugs and starts the lesson.

Daisy and I snapchat and spam our other best friend, Derek. Derek is Daisy's twin brother. For some odd reason they had always gotten along perfectly well. We call ourselves the Thot Trio, just cause we are actually that cool. Derek sends me a snap of him posing in a way that creates an image of his index finger appearing to be placed in Mr.Thomas's (the math teachers) nose. I laugh out loud and all heads snap back to face me. Being in a group called the Thot Trio usually gives me an understandable amount of attention, so in a way I am popular. We all three are, we just are popular for the right reasons. We know how to do the whole high school thing right.

Mrs. Mckenzie turns to face me with one drawn in eyebrow raised.

"Do you want to share anything Mel?" She asks in an accusing tone of voice.

"Derek sent me a pic," I answered with a shrug to my shoulders. She nods in understanding.

"May I see it?" She asks with sincere curiosity. Her and Derek had always had that nice little teacher student bond thing going on. I walk up to her desk with a bounce in my step. I am the confident, sarcastic one in the trio... I have to act like I don't want to kill everyone and go to sleep all the time.

She sees it and places her hand to her mouth to stifle the gasping breaths of laughter she is creating.

"Look at this everyone!" She exclaims and she places my phone under the document camera. A tsunami of laughter and tears and gasps roll through the room. Every student is clutching their stomachs. There becomes a round of applause for Derek. Videos and more snaps began to make their ways to the internet. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr begin to create a rumbling in my back pocket with vibrations. The rest of the class we talk about the snap of Derek... The male thot.
