Grace's POV

"So what if she's plain? I like plain more" Zach said with a shrug.

"Come on Zach, it's not like you. She's not your taste? Why? Is she good in bed? I knew it, you are just an angel in disguise you-"

"Awwww I never thought that the famous Jode Wells think of me as an angel" I cut her of then continued "So what if Zach is with me?  Why do you even care, and as far as I know I am not that plain, I just don't do my make up like yours, thick as clowns do, I'm just simple" she tried to say something but nothing came out of her precious mouth.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" And that is Zach "I thought I still have to protect my girl, but it seems like she can stand up for herself, especially from people like you" he continued

The way he calls me My Girl, God knows how much that affects me, I felt weak.

STOP! THIS IS JUST AN ACT TO MAKE JODE GO AWAY!

"Stop lying Zach, I know you don't date her, I bet you can't kiss her if I ask you to" she said with a smirk.

Ofcourse this is the part where our cover will be blown, and then Jode will spread nasty rumours around campus, and everyone will hate me and-

I was cut out of my thoughts when I felt a hand on my waist and another on my face, Zach made me face him and he gave me a smile, I don't know but when I stared at his eyes, I felt like I knew him.

Yes. My forehead, I snap my eyes open and saw his eyes staring deeply in mine.

Thump!Thump!

I feel like my heart will leap out of my chest any minute now, I feel out of breath and I'm sure I can hear my heart beating.

Oh God! What if he hears it too?

And when I thought I can regain composure and started pulling away he quickly planted his lips on mine.

To say I was shocked was an understatement, I know it sounds cliché but I swear I felt like something exploded.

He started moving his lips gently and deepened the kiss, I don't know what I'll do so I slowly moved mine and followed the movement of his lips. His hand found my waist and pulled me closer to him while the other found my hand and he entwined it with mine, my heart is now beating so fast I think I'm gonna pass out.

He bit my lip and that made me open my mouth and gasp, that only gave him the opportunity to enter his tongue inside my mouth, his tongue was battling mine it felt like I'll melt soon.

And I swear I'm saying a lot of cliché words right now, it fvcking sounds lame.

When we were both out of breath we pulled away from each other and he rested his forehead on mine and planted a kiss on my nose.

Damn! That act is sweet, I know Jode will believe us now.

I looked at Jode who have her jaw dropped and fists clenched at her sides.

"I didn't even ask for you to kiss her" she said with a gritted teeth

"You don't have to, I'll kiss my girl whenever and wherever I want. With or without your concern"

I can't speak all I could do was look at her and back at him, I noticed that his lips was swollen and it turned dark red like a cherry, I know mine looks the same.

"Ugh your fvcking unbelievable, I swear to you this is not the end of this" Jode said and stormed out of the café.

Seconds passed and I realized his hands was still around my waist, and I started pulling away. When I was finally out of his grasp I looked up at him and gave him a smile.

"Uhhh so I'm gonna go now" I said to him and started walking back to Maya who has a huge smile on her face.

"Ahh wait" Zach stopped me

"Yes?"

"Alfonso?"

"What?" Is he calling someone from his friends or is he calling me? He knows who I am?

"Your Grace Alfonso right?" He asked

"A-Ah yes, how did you know?"

"Nothing, see you around" he just replied with a smile.

"Come on guys" one of his friends said and followed Zach behind

I stood there stunned putting into mind what he meant whe he said he'll see me around.

"That was HOOT"Maya said fanning herself a little.

I blushed so hard I feel like my face is on fire.

"You look so red Grace HAHAHAHAHAHA"

She teased laughing out loud. I started looking around and luckily found no one insight.

"Stop it! You will never speak of this, NEVER!" I told her with a stern voice and with wide eyes.

"Aww not even with Jamie and the others?" She said while pouting

"No. Not even with them"

We ended our conversation with her flipping her hair at me and me following behind her.

After we dropped of the shopping bags at the shop of Maya's Mom, which is near at college.We arrived at the campus just in time and directly went to our classes. And that is English for me and PE for Maya.

My mind kept drifting to what happened earlier at the café, and everytime I think about it I'll blush.

"Ms. Grace, if you're done day dreaming I hope you can start writing that essay now"

Ms. Mules said giving me one of her creepy old smile.

"Yes ma'am, and I'm actually thinking of what to write" I lied to her and she just gave me a shrug.

Goood! I can't wait for this day to be over.
