Chapter 4

Hi sorry for the mysterious leave!!!

I woke up the next morning and heave a long sigh, I get up and shower and do my morning things for school. I put on a cute black and white romper and a short jean jacket, and pair it with some cute brown sandals. I grab my bag and head downstairs, I make myself some peanut butter toast with some honey and grab a strawberry banana smoothie.

"We're gonna be late! Let's go!" I scream to my two sisters. They both come running down and both grab a granola bar and a water and run through the door to my car.

"Love you girls!" I hear my dad scream from his room.

"Love you!" I grab my keys and walk out. I turn on the radio and start my car. I back out and head to the middle school first then to the high school. When I park in my spot I turn to see someone pull up next to me. I look up and see Ethan smirking at me. I laugh and shake my head. I grab my bag and get out to meet him in between our cars.

"You know I think some sophomore parks there." I point out to him, he nods.

"I paid him like twenty bucks to switch with me." I laugh and begin to walk to the front doors.

I go to my locker and get out my chemistry book. "What's your first class?" I ask Ethan knowing he's leaning against a locker beside me.

"Math's. What's your second?" I close my locker and turn to him.

"I have a free block then." He half smiles.

"Me too." He puts his hands in his pocket. "Meet here after first?" I nod and smile. We both walk off and head to our classes. I sit down and turn to my lab partner Connor and smile.

"Morning Connor." I put on my apron and turn towards him. He just sits and looks at me like everyday. I sigh and shake my head. "One day I'll get u to say it back" I squint my eyes towards him and watch as the teacher walk in and greet us.

An hour later the bell rings and we all get up to leave. I go towards my locker and see Ethan leaning on my locker scrolling through his phone nodding his head at whatever some short red head girl is saying. I walk up to him and smile at him, he looks up from his phone and smiles at me.

"Gotta go Lucy." He says not even looking at the poor girl. She frowns.

"It's Lauren." She mumbles. I send a small smile and follow Ethan. We walk towards my car and we both get in.

"Where to sir?" I say in a British accent. He smirks and points forwards.

"Just drive."
