Hope all everyone have a good Fourth of July!!!

As I straighten my dress I heave out a long sigh. I check myself once more in the mirror and turn slightly, I'm wearing a beautiful blush pink spaghetti strap dress that's backless but sweet enough for it to not be inappropriate. I matched it with light nude point flats with straps around the ankle. I curled my light blonde hair and did my make up flawlessly, with a cute pink lip.

"Girls!" I hear dad call and I play with the gold bracelet I have on and grab my phone and head downstairs . He goes through each of our outfits and smiles when he see's we all look nice enough. He looks at us with glossy eyes and a gentle smile. "You girls look lovely." I roll my eyes with a smile.

"Dad we're meeting the neighbors not going to prom, chill." I say giving him a small hug. He laughs and throws his hands up in defense.

"Don't remind me of prom or the water park would be jealous of me right now. Why did I have to have girls." He jokes looking at us with narrowed eyes. The girls laugh and run up and play with him, I laugh and log into my phone and scroll through Instagram liking things I don't even look at. Dad pretty much squeals with the girls when the doorbell rings, I chuckle shaking my head at my childish dad. Me and the girls stand near the living room as dad opens the door and greet them in. I smirk when I see Ethan holding a little boy's shoulder, they look alike both wearing black dress pants and a white button up, his mother laughs and greets with dad before she see's us and grins wider.

"Oh you must be the beautiful girl's your father talks on and on about." Coming up and hugging each of us. "You must be Madeline." She nods with a faint blush. "And you have to be Chloe!" She pretty much squeals holding her hands. Chloe nods with a big smile. And Ethan's mom turns to me and squeezes me into a comforting hug. "And you must be the gorgeous Emma." I lightly laugh. "You girls are all so beautiful, I always have wanted a daughter, but I got stuck with two boy's." She jokes jabbing her thumb back to the two boy's standing in the back with smiles.

"You love us mom." Ethan says rolling his eyes with a joking smirk. I smile. She walks to them and points to the younger one.

"This is James." He looks to be round seven or eight and ducks behind Ethan's legs. "And this is Ethan." She finishes looking proudly at both of them. We decide to take all the chat to the dinner table. I sit next to dad on his right, who sits at the head of the table. And my sister take beside me while Ethan's family sits in front of us. Ethan straight ahead of me. We make eye contact and Ethan smirks while i shake my head looking down with a smile. After a long chat and finding out Ethan's mom's name is Elizabeth, I felt a light kick on my foot. I look down with my eyebrows pulled seeing Ethan's shoe connecting with mine. I look up to him and see he is looking in the direction of the conversation, with a small playful smirk. I smirk and kick him back a little harder, he turns to me with shock on his face and places a hand over his heart.

"Ow." He whispers. I shrug and stick out my tongue at him. I feel him continuing to kick my ankles so I let him, kicking back, I look over to dad and see him and Elizabeth watching me and Ethan with smirks. I feel myself flush and sit up straighter hiding behind my blonde hair.

"Have you two met before?" Elizabeth says with a knowing smile. I clear my throat and nod.

"We share a class."  Ethan nods and runs a hand through his hair. Elizabeth's mouth splits into the biggest grin and claps her hands together.

"Oh that's perfect!" She exclaims loudly, then waves her hands at us. "Shoo, you guys are done eating go and take the girls and James to that park I saw earlier. I look to Ethan and shrug getting up. All five of us head out and walk down the street towards the small park. I look up to the sky and see it's pretty much all pink because the sun was disappearing very quickly. We continue walking listening to the kids play then we reach the park, the little's run toward the slides and monkey bars. I walk towards the swings and hear Ethan's behind.  We sit for a while but then I get bored so start kicking at the ground.

"Race ya." Is all I said and it become a full blown race between us. I'm pretty sure if I could go any higher I would get lost in a cloud. By the time both of our legs ran out of energy from kicking the ground we both decided to sit on top of the monkey bars and let the kids have a go on the swings.

"Your sister's are cute." He said looking at them playing with James. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

"They are devils and I'm pretty sure Satan isn't the cutest." I say back. He chuckles.

"Tonight was fun, your Dad is pretty cool." I laugh and shake my head.

"I had fun too." Is all I say looking to the distance.

"So why were you at the diner so late at night?" He was talking about when we first met. I shrugged looking down.

"Had trouble falling asleep." I put pull my hair behind my ear. "How about you?" I turn towards him. He shrugged too.

"Long night I guess." I nodded. "I like to drive at night too sometimes." He said looking distant. "It's fun."

Boring chapter sorry!!!
