Chapter Five

3RD POV 

The group of the four Serpents, stayed up late as they watched movies. The first to fall asleep was Fangs Fogarty, which wasn't a shocker to the gang. Sweet Pea had somehow convinced the two girls to draw on Fangs' face. Tiger Lily laughed as she used her paints to draw a serpent on the teen's face.

"He is going to hate us when he wakes up." The brunette girl laughed cleaning up the paint.

"It's just Fogarty, his definition of hate is not playing pool." Sweet Pea said.

Tiger Lily and Toni laughed as the tallest boy spoke of his best friend. This was the extremely rare sight of the Serpent, one only few get to see. The three remaining Serpents went back to the movie.

Later that morning, Tiger Lily woke up to the shouts of Fangs. The brunette grabbed the nearest pillow and tossed it in the direction of the shouts.

"Vampy shut up." The girl groaned as she rubbed her eyes sitting up from the couch.

The girl took note that she was the last to wake up, and glared at the group. Tiger Lily examined her body before letting out a breath of relief as the group hadn't marked her like they had Fangs. The girl sat up and tossed the remaining pillows at the other two Serpents.

It was around noon that next day when Tiger Lily found herself dressed in her gear for a run. The girl plugged in her earphones, as she took off running from the trailer park out to Eversgreen Forest. Tiger Lily knew that after the dream she had, it was time to release some stress.

The brunette didn't know, nor care as to how long or how far she had gotten. She only cared about forgetting. She wanted to forget it all. She no longer wanted to be their daughter. The girl felt her feet ache as she slumped against a tree to catch her breath.

"I hate you!" She shouted at the air, before taking off running again once she felt ready.

This time her destination wasn't away, no, the girl ran home. She ran to the people she can call her family. The girl ran towards the trailer park, to her one true family member. Antoinette Topaz, the girl that was there no matter for the brunette girl from the beginning.

The girl's journey was cut short as she saw Sweet Pea getting on his bike. The Serpent's trailer was a few before getting to Toni's. The brunette took out her earphones and wrapped them around her neck, the music could still be heard from them still.

"What's the rush SP?" The girl called as she jogged over to the boy.

"Haven't you checked your phone? Jones called a meeting for the Serpents." Sweet Pea said as he looked at the girl.

The brunette wore her Serpent jacket while out on the run, as she refused to take it off unless necessary. She had beads of sweat dripping from her forehead as she spent the last hour running around. Needless to say her green sports attire was not Serpent meeting appropriate.

"I haven't checked my phone.. I'll just have Nettie feel me in." She spoke as she began to walk away from Sweet Pea.

"Come on Tiger. Meeting must be important." Sweet Pea shouted at the brunette who turned to him with a sigh.

The brunette got on the back of the motorcycle after zipping up her jacket. The two Serpent teens rode off to the Whyte Wyrm in silence. Tiger Lily found herself feeling self conscious as she followed the tall Serpent teen into the bar. The girl made her way over to Toni at one of the tables just as Jughead walked up to the pool table.

"I have an announcement to make. My dad's getting out of jail." Jughead spoke causing all the Serpents to cheer loudly. "And when he does, I'll bring him up to speed about our plans with Mayor McCoy."
