I KNOW THAT I'm not supposed to talk to strangers. And I especially follow that rule because I am extremely shy. But, I guess I just forgot all about those two things when I bumped into her.

I strolled down the aisle looking for the milk Mom buys here. She sent me to the grocery store to do the weekly shopping because she had to take care of some work things, and my little sister was at daycare. My older brother couldn't do the grocery shopping because he had to go to his part time job at Starbucks.

I couldn't find the right kind of milk, so I spun around quickly to find an employee. That's when I bumped into a woman. And knocked her groceries out of her hand. She was heavily pregnant, and couldn't exactly bend down to reach them. So, being me, I apologized and picked them up for her. One of the apples got bruised a little. "Wow, I am so, so, so, so sorry!" I repeated. "Would you like me to get you another apple?" I indicated towards the bruised one.

"Oh, no, thank you," the woman said. "Most kids probably would have run off and wouldn't even give it a second thought."

"Oh," I said awkwardly. "Erm, I'm Lynley." I stuck out my hand. She shook it gladly.

   "I'm Lissy James," she responded.

"So," I blurted out, "when are you due?" I regretted it the second it left my mouth. "Oh, uh, I mean..." I sighed. There was no use.

"Actually, I have several months left," Lissy said.

I couldn't help but stare at her awkwardly. She seemed enormous.

"I know what you're thinking," Lissy said. "It's quadruplets."

"Ah, oh, uh. Okay," I said. How much more idiotic could I sound? "That's cool." Apparently that much more.

It was an awkward silence until I broke it and made it even more awkward by saying, "So, I know I'm not supposed to talk to strangers, let alone tell them my favorite television shows but, you look just like the woman who plays Snow White on Once Upon a Time!"

"Oh, that's one of my favorites, too!" Lissy exclaimed. "It's funny, because everybody says I look just like her!"

"I know, and hey, did you see the one where they included Elsa from Frozen?" I asked, excited that someone shared my interests. Because my friends thought Once Upon a Time was stupid.

"Uh huh," Lissy said, nodding her head. We kept the conversation going on for quite awhile, and even though I didn't have a cellphone, we exchanged email addresses.

I was so involved with my coversation with Lissy that I had forgotten to even bring back any groceries.

"Lynley, where are the groceries?" Mom questioned.

"Whoops..." I looked at the floor sheepishly. "I kind of forgot."

"How in the world did you forget to buy groceries? At the grocery store?"

"I got sidetracked. I accidentally knocked a pregnant lady's groceries down so I helped her pick them up, and then we hit it off and exchanged email addresses," I said.

"Lynley Harrison! What have I told you about telling strangers personal information?" Mom asked.

"Well, she wasn't a stranger. I even learned her name, Lissy James, and she seemed pretty chill," I said.

"Oh, Lissy James? She's quite a good friend of my sister-in-law, Hanna."

Even though Hanna is my mom's sister-in-law, I thought of her like an aunt because whenever we see her it's like an aunt/niece relationship with us. Well, technically, she is my aunt... so I guess of course it's like an aunt/niece thing.

"Uh huh," I said, nodding my head eagerly. "So, I'm going to go finish that math assignment up in my room."

"I thought you said you didn't have any!" Mom called up after me.

"I guess I forgot." I didn't exactly forget, though. I just wanted to procrastinate a little longer. Ah, a little procrastination doesn't hurt once in awhile, does it?

A/N: I know, reeeeeaally short. But, I don't care. Okay, so yeah. That's all I have to say. Goodbye and farewell.
