Taiga was playing basketball by himself. The red head couldn't help but reminisce what happened the last night. The words his upperclassmen and lousy acquaintance said got even more riled up.

Oh, man. I'm so excited I can't sit still. I successfully shoot a hoop and smirk. I don't care if it's not an official match! I just wanna play them!
~The next day~
"A game?" Captain says. "You can't play yet." "Wha-what? Why, Captain?" I ask. "How am I not good enough?" "You're still a trial member. You're not an official member yet." He says in a matter-of-fact manner. I look at him, dumbfounded. "Hah?"

"I knew you had potential." Riko-chan says as I sit on her desk. "Ne, ne, Riko-chan. Can I have a turn on your PSP?" Tick marks grow on her head. "It's not a PSP, you moron! Go back to your class!" I pout. "Riko-chan, you're so mean...how are we still friends when you keep on insulting me?" I wonder out loud. She rolls her eyes and looks back at her PSP. "Nothing beats cultivating talent." She says dreamily as she sips her milk. Taiga-chan suddenly runs to Riko-chan's desk and slams it. "Coach!" She spits her drink at him. I was trying my hardest not to laugh.
Taiga-chan wipes it off and continues, as if it never happened. "Coach, give me an official club membership form." "What is it with today? You, too?" Riko-chan asks as she wipes her mouth. Both Taiga-chan and I look at her questioningly. "Too?" The red head and I ask simultaneously. "Don't tell me Tetsuya-chan asked for one? He asked me too." "Why would he?" He asks. I grin smugly. "As the manager, I have the authority to approve memberships or not." "Then you can-" I shake my head and cross my arms, making an 'X' sign. "No can do. It isn't a one-man decision. We both have to agree on it." Riko-chan sighs. "Just how impatient are you rascals?" "What'd you call me?" She dismisses his question and moves on. "Well, you both have potential, and we've got room on the bench, so we'd be happy to have you." She hands him the application form. Taiga-chan takes it and grins. "Yoshi. Now I can play in a game, right?" He starts waking away, when a thought popped into my head. "Ah, Taiga-chan, hold it right there." He turns around to face me. "Huh?" "I'll only accept your form on Monday at exactly 8:40 on the rooftop." He blinks at me. "Hm?"

While I was walking out the classroom, I noticed a newspaper clipping. It was an article on the Seirin Team. "He wasn't kidding..." I mutter. "Yes. They're strong." It took me second to register the voice that came out of nowhere. I scream. "WHY CAN'T YOU SHOW UP NORMALLY?! STOP COMING OUT OF NOWHERE!" I yell. The bastard shusses me and points to the sign above him, reading 'Library'. I grab his hair and pull him up. "You making fun of me?!" "No." The blue haired bastard says calmly. I let him go, and he pats his head. "That hurt." I don't believe it. How could anyone call an invisible guy like him the sixth phantom member? I look at the bastard straightening his hair. How did that happen, anyway? The rest of the Generation of Miracles all went to play for strong schools. Why didn't he go with them? I sigh. "Oi, Kuroko-" He was gone.
