"Why is the day so gloomy and dark today?" Cheryl murmured making an espresso.

Cheryl, a summer lover was a barista in a small cafe named River Moon.

"That guy is here again." She heard her co-workers whisper. "But why is he always alone."

Cheryl looked up to see a handsome guy sitting at the corner of the cafe looking out from the transparent glass of the cafe.

His eyes were not visible properly as they were hidden with his bangs but he was intriguing in some way. She was immediately attracted to him like other girls. Though it didn't make her his fangirl.

She held the cup in her hand and with one last glance at the guy, she drew a smiley and walked towards him.

She felt shivers as she walked towards him. The closer she walked to him, the colder she felt.

"Here, an espresso cause you look depresso." She said smiling.

He didn't turn to face her but instead looked at her from corner of his eyes. "I didn't order anything." He said bluntly.

"Think it as my treat." Cheryl said calmly.

"I can pay for myslef." He replied, still facing on the other side.

"You should at least have the decency of looking at the person you're talking to." Cheryl said, irritated.

"And why do you think would I follow your orders?" He asked casually.

"Oh! Young master! You're here." Cheryl heard an exhausted voice from the back.

She turned to look at a man in his mid 40's run towards them. She turned again to face the guy but noticed something strange.

His eyes looked dead yet attractive at the same time. They lacked colour in them. Just a lifeless grey lingered in them with flecks of dark grey. Those were the most unusually beautiful eyes she had ever seen.

The old man held out his hand for his young master but he refused it and said. "You don't have to treat me like a new born."

That's when she realised something.

HE WAS BLIND.
