Hello again! Still with me or perhaps a brand new reader? Whatever the case, we are raising the temperature a bit in this new chapter. I hope you enjoy it!

Grants pov. The trial.

- Damn it, can't you listen to me: I didn't kill captain Park Daesung!! None of us did! We found him next to the crashed ship that carried the b....kryotubes.
He was after something and didn't want us to see. He went out alone and turned the intercom off. The surface was dark and filled with gas, we could hardly see him.
You must have seen this on the log, his lifesigns , they disappeared in a blink. You must have seen the log! The real log!
- You know we have. And you know there was two signatures on screen.  Parks and one more.
You have denied being the second and it's supported by nurse Jung. But still.  You had your orders Grant, we have to make sure they were followed according to protocol.

Grant leaned on the desk in front of him and looked down . He was upset and actually quite frightened. The log must have been tampered with.  Protocol, did they even know what the mission was, did they even know the hidden agenda ? The hobble around his ankle hurt a bit. He frowned.
The memories of that day filled him with horror. They didn't know what the mission was but when they discovered the boys in the kryotubes they thought that was it.
As if that wasn't enough. Their tubes were badly beaten, they had to be quick. One was empty. The glass was shattered.
But captain Park was searching for something else, there had been a reason for that ship to be out there. It was unlisted, non existent and still there. There had been a crew, of course. But they were no more. When they found Park there wasn't much left of him either. They had panicked and ......two of them got hurt. Quick, silent and totally invisible in the foggy darkness it had struck. Leaving deathly rips in the space suites. For the moment they had to leave. Taking care of wounds.

Singular met them in the airlock.
- Did you find anything?
- Find what? We found Captain Park ,  cut in pieces. The rest of the crew, no sign of them!!
Do you know something we don't????!!!!   He yelled him right in the face and shoved him aside, heading for sick bay.
Nurse Holly was prepared . She couldn't let them in, they might be carrying some contamination. She treated the wounds through the safety barrier. The look on her face was heart breaking, he remembered.  Through the glass she used thick gloves and picked out splints, glass and something else from the wounds. For two days they suffered from high fever. Singular circled around them, trying to get hold of their collecting bags. For security reasons he said. After two days they dared approach the surface and the ship, to save the boys into the prepared kryotubes on Omelas. They had gone into orbit for a while, going down later to restore what could be restored. Frightened, armed.

All of this was a proper mess in his head. He had been saying, writing, shouting this so many times. He wished Holly could be here. He knew that he would be taken in to custody. The black box of the ship was still missing , or so it seemed. They were not to speak about the boys in public but all focus was on them. They must have the key to this mystery people said,  but Grant didn't agree. They were innocent, childish and kind guys. Just boys . Strangely lost in the adult world. Who were they any way? The entire crew had strict orders not to mention them. And he found his netconnections restricted.
So what, he was facing a murder trial.  And all he could think about was the horrible sight around that ship. Charon,  what a name for a ship, creepy.  But fitting, with all that death.
Grant looked at the line of uniformed men in front of him. Senior officers and lawyers with his faith in their hands. They asked for a recess, to negotiate and decide. Another recess....damn it!!!!
If only Holly..........

Jungkooks pov. Cable guy

Being maknae had it's advantages. He had faced all this with horror but since he had his hyungs, he felt strong.  He was the type of person that could adapt to almost anything if he only had them around. Jungkook had nightmares too, mostly about trying to carry people, open doors and loosing his way in a confused darkness.  He was an observer, in that darkness there was nothing to observe,  he found that scaring.
Since they got to this place, he tried to find a normality. He was strong, he used the gym a lot. Jimin said that he knew he was a dancer, Jungkook felt it too.
