It was eight thirty and I was freaking out. I was pacing around my room, looking like a lunatic. I kept running my hands through my hair as if it would calm me down. I took deep breaths and felt my heart beat dangerously fast.

"Would you relax?" Gabriel said, bored.

Gabriel, Mateo and Veronica were all in my room. They had been here for about an hour, trying to make me calm down. They looked bored, probably because this isn't the first time for them. Oh, and because they aren't the ones doing it either.

"Easy for you to say," I muttered.

He stood up and grabbed me by my shoulders, preventing me from moving.

"It'll be fine, you'll do great."

I looked at him like he was stupid.

"I'm going to kill someone in a few hours. Nothing about this is great."

He rolled his eyes, "you know what I mean, now come on. We have to go, its getting late and Lorenzo is a stickler for punctuality."

I laughed and walked out. I didn't know how to dress to go on a job like this so I wore black leggings and a black track sweater I had. I just hope this part is like in the movies. My nerves are getting the best of me and the last thing I need is to be worrying about my outfit.

We walked outside and saw the SUV waiting for us. I quickly went in front of everyone, in hopes of getting the window seat. I don't know how, but it tends to calm me down when I look out the window.

I'm weird, what else is new?

I step inside and immediately want to get out, but decide if would be too obvious. Nicolas is sitting near the window, meaning I would be stuck next to him. He turns to face in my direction and makes a face when he realizes its me.

What did I ever do to the world for it to hate me this much?

When we were all sat down, Elijah turned around and raised an eyebrow at us, "are you guys ready? Or do you need another hour?" I could hear the sarcasm from a mile away.

I made a face at him, "we're ready."

Nicolas scoffed, "about damn time."

I turned to look at him and without facing me he shrugged. I rolled my eyes at him and looked through the windshield.

"This is gonna be a fun ride," Mateo said sarcastically.

We arrived at the gym again, which was odd. Here I thought it was for working out. We all got off and made our way to the entrance. Turns out, there are two sublevels in the building. One was for doing things like they did to Jacob, and the other was for the business.

We went down to the second sublevel and my mouth dropped. There people I have never seen in my life, walking around purposefully. There were computer everywhere and big containers all around. The whole thing looked like a top secret mission, which in a way it was.

Elijah led us to a room the was far back. As we walked everyone looked at me and smiled, like they knew who I was. I eventually just turned my head and looked down.

Lorenzo threw his hands in the air when he saw us.

"What took you so long?"

I checked my phone, "it's 8:50! You said be here at nine."

He rolled his eyes, "you've got a lot to learn. Come this way."

I looked around and said that there were six screens on a table, two rows of three. There was a keyboard under and a chair. Gabriel took a seat as soon as he said them. Lorenzo nodded and led us in another direction.
