My eyes were heavy, and I barely acknowledged what was really going on. Everything was spinning and the world was a big blur, coming in and out of focus from time to time.
As the events began to process in my mind, I began fighting back. I clawed at the hand that pulled my hair, trying to tear the skin.
When that didn't work, I began twisting and turning, grabbing onto anything to prevent myself from being dragged. That only resulted in the person yanking my hair harder, which effectively made me let go.
Next came my screams and kicks. I looked like a toddler having a tantrum, but it really got their attention. The second those two kicks to my spine came, I accepted my fate.
The journey came to an end, and I was let go. My head fell against the wooden floor with a bang, and again, everything went black for a few seconds.
At this rate, your brain is a slushy.
A groan left my lips as a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me up sideways. Something hard and cold enclosed around it, and suddenly I was trapped. Another cold and hard thing enclosed around my other wrist. Both my arms were pulled apart, in a sort of crucifying manner.
Except my feet were—and...spoke too soon!
My feet were also being wrapped around what I could guess were chains or clasps or something metal and hard. Except, I wasn't forming a crucifix. Instead I formed a star.
My head hung low. I didn't have the willpower or strength to lift it. Up until this point, silence deafened me. Now, sounds were slowly entering my ears, too many to identify.
Mostly screams and cries. The words "no" and "stop" seemed to be a fan favorite. "Please" came as a close second.
Gathering up the half strength needed to lift my head, I made it about two inches before dropping it back.
Big head ass bitch! Great time to realize this, huh?
"Lookie here! Rise and shine, love!" I didn't recognize that voice. The voice of a man.
I felt two soft fingers on my chin and suddenly, my head was lifting. Removing my hair out of my face, a slow smile made its way onto the man's mouth as he saw my face.
Long blonde and brown hair with small traces of white-gray hairs. A small beard with many white hairs covered most of his mouth.
Small blue eyes that looked ready to devour me, looked into my eyes. A tidal wave of pure blue made a cold chill run down my pained spine. Endless rays of blue, all circling one small black pit. A black hole, one that was ready to suck you in and never let you out. Like a fire, so hot it glows blue. Fire and ice, both in his eyes. Fighting to take control. But no matter which one does, they're both just as lethal.
The smile in his face made him look harmless, and even friendly. It made you want to accept what he had to offer. It tried to fool you into thinking that he was here to help, to make you better. It made you want to smile back and maybe even consider a hug. To have talks with this man and share your most best memories. To give him your best times, the most intimate parts of you. To let him know you and trust him not to break you.
But I knew that wasn't the case. The chills I got from being this close to the man made alarms of danger ring in my ears. My brain was under alert, warning signs going up. Don't trust this man. Don't fall for his facade.
This was no ordinary friendly man. No.
This was the devil. The devil in a saints body.
