Sleepover

"I'll be fine, now go!"
I laugh. I'm practically shoving these guys out the door.
"Are you sure? I can go get pizza and we'll watch Disney movies until we fall asleep!" Alyssa persuades in my doorway.
"I can stay too!" E and Gray both holler out at the same time.
I smile and say, "As convincing that is I think I'm going to have to say no. Come on guys I'll be fine you don't need to baby me."
They finally agree and they all say their goodbyes. Ethan hugs me last and for some reason hugs me for a really long time. He looked behind him and I see nobodies there. I raise an eyebrow.
"I'm staying I don't care what you say."
He steps back inside and I roll my eyes.
"E, I swear I'll be fine. Go-."
He whips himself around and grabs me by my hips.
"You're lying and we both know it."
He looks over to where my important papers sit and he looks back at me with a soft face.
"I already have pizza on the way."
He really needs to stop babying me all the time.
"Fine."
He smiles and heads to my bedroom already setting up my speaker to turn on music. Whenever E stays over we always listen to music. It's weird but I love it. It means less talking on my part.
"E, on a serious note though you don't have to stay. I don't need you getting drug into my miserable mess."
He lays down onto my bed.
" I'm your best friend. You're 'miserable messes' are mine too. Now come lay by me."
I sigh and do as he says. I grab my phone and look at my messages.
Recent Message from: Baby💞
I stare at it in disbelief. I haven't been able to message him for days because it said he'd blocked me!
"Nope, we're not letting you get your hopes up." Ethan whispers into my ear.
He grabs my phone and places it behind him and then wraps his arms around me. I sigh.
"I just want to see what he said Ethan."
He runs his hand through my hair. Fucking Ethan he knows that's my weak spot.
"The only thing he's going to say to you is either going to raise your hopes or break your heart even more."
I groan in frustration. Of course I know he's right but it's tempting to see what he said.
"Please E-"
I get cut off by the doorbell ringing.
"Pizzas here. Come on." He murmurs into my ear.
Of course something happens and it works out for Ethan. Nothing ever works out for me. I'm just a piece of shit and Ethan's only here because he feels sorry for my ass. All your friends think you're annoying anxiety whispers into my ear.
"$10 is your total."
Fuck of course E spends too much on me.
"E you really don't have to spend that much."
He hates you and is going to leave you. But wait we don't want him to leave so you better be annoying and clingy. But wait he'll get annoyed and- my flow of thoughts get cut off by Ethan rubbing my back.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
Was I crying? I was too. Now he's going to think I'm an over emotional piece of trash. Pull yourself together!
I wipe my tears swiftly and smile up at him.
"Nothing. Why would you think any different?"
