Natsu's POV

I ran across the room to Lucy's dresser and rummaged through her drawers.

"Where is your suit Luce?" I asked her still standing in the same spot in the kitchen.

"Its in the bottom-oh, I got it." She started to clumsily walk towards me hugging the wall.

I ran to her and guided her across the room. She felt with her hands and opened the bottom drawer and pulled out two pieces of clothing.

"Can you lead me to the bathroom please?" She asked politely.

"Yeah, but you shouldn't look the door. Remember what happened last time." I reminded her.

"How am I supposed to know you wont peak?!" She pointed a finger at my face, my her aim was very off and she pointed more to my ear.

"Because I will be changing too, and no peaking from you!" I moved her hand in the right place.

"Pft..." I looked to see Happy trying to contain his laughter.

Lucy pointed to her fuzzy brown eyes, "There wouldn't be any peaking from me even if I could!" With that she shut and locked the door behind her.

"I cant believe you forgot!" Happy couldn't help but bust.

"She is still the same Lucy. Its hard to believe that she has changed at all. Inside she hasn't, but her life has."

"Thats intense." Happy realized that was situation he was stuck in.

I pulled on my red swim shorts with orange fire crawling up the ends. I waited for Lucy to come out of the bathroom and laid on her bed swinging my legs around. Happy flopped himself on my stomach when the bathroom door opened.

Lucy wore a pink and yellow flower bikini, that was it but she still looked amazing, absolutely stunning. Something so simple yet so eye catching.

"Am I wearing this right? Nothing upside down right?" She asked a worried look covered her beautiful face.

"N-No you look f-fine." I stumbled over my choice of words.

"Well lets get this over with." She sighed and went back into the bathroom, I followed.

"How do you keep things so organized?" He asked in how everything was kept so neat in rows or lined up against the mirror.

"Ha, everything is probably messy right now too!" She laughed.

"Here let me get in first." I felt my face getting hot.

I slipped into the warm water, it felt so nice to have a bathe, usually I just shower. Then I helped Lucy into the slippery tub. I could see her face going slightly red. It must have been from the hot water.

"Hold your breath." I told her, she did as she was told and I put her head gently under the water, only for a second. She came up and gasped, her hair glassed back and looking a bit darker.

She put out her hand,

"Shampoo?"

"Right." I turned grabbed the bottle and squirted the goop into her hand. Her face turned from blank to disgust.

"How much did you give me?!" She screamed in my face.

"A palm full." I smiled.

"You only need a tiny bit! You used like half the bottle!"

With more arguing, laughing and a tiny bit of splashing we were both cleaned. I stepped out and was about to help Lucy out when suddenly thunder sounded, lightning flashed, rain pounded on the roof. We stayed there for a second still, shocked from the sudden play of events. I realized we were just standing there like an idiots, shaking my head I began to get Lucy out of the bath tub. We were both still dripping so I grabbed two towels and gave one to her. We dried ourselves off and Lucy went back into the bathroom to change.

I was just finishing when everything went dark, all the lights went out and the world became black. Suddenly the room was lit up by a flash of lightning, I saw Lucy putting her bathing suit up to dry like nothing had happened. I heard her humming sweetly as though everything was fine. I followed the sound of her wonderful voice and hugged her, like she was my life line.

"Natsu, w-what are you doing?" She gasped.

"Theres a blackout." I hugged her tighter.

"Theres a..." She repeated to herself trying to understand my foolish words. Then she burst out laughing clutching her stomach and detached herself from me.

"Hey." I pouted.

"Im sorry, but its just so ironic. Now I have to teach you to see in the dark." She wiped tears from her eyes.

"Its so dark!!!!" I heard a scared voice charging right for us. I dimly made out that something big hit Lucy and she was knocked to the ground.

"Happy, what are you doing?" She pulled him up.

"I think your disease is contagious, I cant see! Im blind Natsu I'm blind!" Happy cried.

"Your not blind, the power went out, I have a whole bunch of candles in my desk." I heard Lucy stumble over to her desk by memorization of her room and opened one of her drawers. There was a flicking sound and sparks flew from the tip of the match.

"Wait a second, couldn't you have just used your fire magic to see?" She yelled at me.

"Oh, yeah!" I snapped my fingers.

Huffing she handed me the rest of the candles.

"Can you light these and put them all over the room."

I did as she asked and I could see her room perfectly well now, everything seemed to look different in this light. More elegant or warm. I looked to Lucy. She was sitting on the couch, in her PJ's staring out at nothing. Her face was peaceful, but her eyes even though they were covered by a haze they still seemed to sparkle and had life in them.

"Natsu, am I going to stay like this forever?" She asked.

Taken back by her words he sat on the couch next to her.

"I will do everything I possibly can to get your sight back. The whole whole guild will, you know they will. We wont stop until we find a solution. I promise."

"Thank you, I'm just not sure about anything any more." She sighed.

"Well, you can be sure that no matter where you are, I will be there too." Her eyes widened and she smiled.

She hugged him and abruptly said.

"Time for bed, goodnight!" She jumped off the couch and onto her bed. Pulling the covers over her head she pretended to be asleep.

"Where are your extra blankets?" I ask giggling at her childish behavior.

She groaned and stuck her arm out from the covers and pointed.

"In the closet next to the bookshelf."

I pulled out some blankets and made myself a nice bed on her couch. Knowing that I was there to make sure she didn't hurt herself or anyone else hurt her put my mind at ease. My eyelids fell and sleep overtook my tired body.
