Natsu's POV

I awoke to the wonderful smell of strawberries and vanilla, it amazes me how anyone can smell exactly like a strawberry-shortcake. But Lucy can, and the smell always drew me to where ever she was. I loved her sent, it was tempting and luring. The fact was I loved her.

I pulled the sleeping Lucy closer to me, she was so tiny, so fragile. Though I knew she could kick when she got mad. But when she was like this she looked so delicate, like an angle. I wanted to stay like this forever, with Lucy at my side. I hugged her tighter not ever wanting to let go, she stirred from my actions.

Groaning she turned on her other side, lucky for me that side now faced me. Her features were lit up by the morning sun, golden hair sprawled messily on the pillow. Her smooth lips arched into a small smile.

I traced my fingers along her soft cheek. Her eyes squinted, while they were already shut. Then she did something that surprised me, she wrapped her arms around my rib cage.

"Warm..." She moaned in her sleep, smiling.

Her face pressed up against my chest, making my heart fly like a bumble bee.

"They liiiiike each other!" I heard a certain blue cat tease, looking over I see him barely peeking over the top of Lucy's couch.

"Shut up." I groaned as I repositioned myself in Lucy's bed, holding her close to my torso.

I could stay a life time in this position, until Lucy really started to wake. She yawned, pulled away from me and rubbed her eyes. She sat up, not truly aware that I was there.

So I decided to give her a great start to her morning.

"GOOD MORNING!!" I yelled and tackled her in a bear hug.

She screamed as she fell to the pink sheets.

"W-What are you doing?" She asked bewildered.

"Waking you up." I chuckled.

"Is it possible for you to do it any quieter?" She stated.

I thought about that for a moment, then I got tired and said.

"Hey why don't we go to the guild?"

"The guild? Already?" She put her fingertips to lips.

"Why not? Everyone will want to see you and we cant keep it a secret forever."

"I know but..."

"Also, even if I am not there someone will. Levy, Erza, Mira, Wendy or anyone will always be near you!" I pleaded.

"Well, I guess." She sighed.

"Alright!" I jumped up off the bed and changed. It was so cool that I could change right there without Lucy freaking out or even being aware of what I was doing! I just had to keep Happy from laughing his butt off and giving away my amazing idea.

Lucy, changed in the bathroom like last time. She came out in a blue skirt and a red shirt, her keys dangled at her waist along with her whip. Her hair was up in a pony tail and slightly messy. Her style seemed a bit off today, she wore blue and red together? Also her hair wasn't her normal side pony. This was all strange. But I wasn't really a stylish person myself and brushed it off.

"Lets go." Lucy smiled, but she was way across the room and looking the wrong direction.

I decided not to tell her, walked up to her, took her wrist and walked her out the door.

"Nazu wait for me!" Happy flew next to my head. "I cant wait to see Charlie again! Maybe Mira has fish too!" The cat dreamed as he flew.

Lucy giggled as we walked together to the guild, though it looked like I was holding her hand because I was leading her everywhere. But I just holding her wrist, not her hand. I wish I could hold her hand. I just wondered how everyone in the guild would take the sight of the two of us. It did look a little strange.

"Natsu? I am kinda scared." Lucy stopped me in my tracks.

"Why would you be scared?"

"What if they don't want me anymore? I cant do anything, not anything. I could barely do anything before, but now how will they take this?! What if I am kicked out?" She sobbed.

"There is no way they would kick you out! We are your family, and family don't treat family like that. Like I said before, we will do everything we can to get your sight back." I reassured her.

She just nodded, still not entirely sure.

"I love you Lushie, you cant leave!" Happy flew down and hugged her.

Stunned at the sudden action, she pat his head.

"I love you too Happy."

When she said those few words my heart seemed to do jumping jacks in my chests.

"We are here." I interrupted their little "moment".

I slammed the doors open with my foot and announced our arrival.

"We're back!"

The guild all stopped, looked at us, then our hands and flooded the place where we had stood. Shrieks and squeals filled the room, some of them from Lucy, people were trading money and laughing at one another saying they had lost.

What was going on?
