Just to make sure I am clear, I don't own Fairy Tail, sadly. It is all Hiro Mashimas and she/he is the best writer ever. Not many people beat Hiro!
I dedicate this chapter to RushiHeartfilia!
Thanks to all my readers I love you!

Natsu's POV
After we had finally found the one huge house in the whole town it was almost evening. The building was ginormous, it was white and looked like a palace! Absolutely amazing, but Lucy wasn't fazed. As expected, she grew up in a house even bigger than this, but for someone who's only house was the noise rowdy guild this was beyond compatible.
Lucy rapped on the door gently. Slowly one of the doors opened to show a slender figure of a young girl, she looked only to be about 16 or 17.
"Hello, we are the wizards from Fairy Tail, we came from your request." Lucy held up the paper as well as her hand with the Fairy Tail insignia.
The girl flinched at the word "wizards" but let us in without a word. She silently lead us through halls of fancy draperies, table placements and all sorts of decorations. I stares in wonder at all my surroundings while again Lucy remained calm. Finally the girl stopped at a large door and ushered us inside.
A large, wealthy looking man sat in an easy chair behind a equally huge desk, he was filling out papers but looked up when we entered.
The girl bowed and gestured towards us.
"Thank you Litha, that will be all." His low voice bellowed.
Nodding the young girl, Litha left us alone with the man. I guessed this was Mr. Hale, the owner of this house.
"Sir we are fr..." Lucy started only to silenced by Mr. Hale putting out his large hand.
"I know who you are, Fairy Tail Mages. I take it you have the request I put up?"
We both nodded, not wanting to speak again.
"This is a bigger quest than you might think. It is going to take lots of skill and cooperation."
"No problem, there's nothing we cant handle!"
"Sshh!" Lucy shushed me.
"I need you to retrieve a family heirloom, a stone. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and has ancient runes engraved all other the surface. The stone is made of jade, so it is very precious as well as important."
"Sorry, but how dis you loose the stone in the first place?" Lucy asked.
"It was stolen, by a witch! Not just any witch either, a poison witch. Her name is Kanachi. She lives deep in the South Forest of Niedle. I have sent many people there back but none have come back. I had no choice but go to a guild for help."
"We are going to kick this poison witches butt. Don't you worry!" I slammed my fists together.
"We will get your stone back, you can count of Fairy Tail." Lucy smiled brightly.
Mr. Hale chuckled at our positive attitudes.
"Then I can only wish you the best of luck."
With this Lucy and I headed straight for the South Forest to start our search.
"Natsu, its cold!" Happy whined.
"I don't control the weather! I'm not a weatherman." I complained back.
"Natsu, you know the weathermen don't really control the weather." A rain drop slid down Lucy's forehead. "But it is pretty chilly, why couldn't we do this in the morning? Its already dark!"
The sun continued to set as we walked deeper and deeper into the South Forest, the trees became thicker and closer together. Denser were the branches letting hardly any of the moonlight.
"How much longer, my feet are killing me!" Lucy fell on her butt.
"I am with Lucy." Happy landed on her lap in exhaustion.
I was about to answer, but I smelled something sweet. Not sweet like food or sugar, but like a wild flower of some kind.
"Do you you smell that?" I asked sniffing the air.
They both looked around wondering what I was talking about.
"You are a dragonslayer, remember? Heightened senses." Lucy pointed out.
I walked towards the sent, trying to find the source. Happy and Lucy walking/flying closely behind. After a few minutes of walking we came across a small clearing and in the very center was a small green rock.
"Nastu, that must be the stone!" Happy shook his arm excitedly.
"Finally we found it!" I charged into the clearing.
"Natsu wait!" Lucy screamed behind me, but she was too late.
On the opposite side of the trees emerged a woman, and struck me back with surprising force. Slamming into a tree I cursed at myself, I could never remember that blindly charging never works!
Looking up I got a better look at the woman, she wore a long light green dress and a wood staff in hand. Her hair was a long auburn brown and eyes that were brighter than her dress.
"You are the poison witch." Lucy mumbled
The woman lifted her chin in recognition, a wicked smile curled on her lips.
