When Aph came to she was confused and alone. She groaned and threw the sheets on the bed she had woken up on and groggily made her way out the door.

"What happened", she asked Magnus once she saw him sitting on the couch drinking his alcohol.

"You passed out after the demon summoning went terribly wrong", He explained slowly staring right in her eyes.

She nodded her head but grimaced when she remembered last night. She looked around and noticed the shadowhunters were gone.

"Where are my friends?"

"They left after they woke Jace up said for you to go back to the church when you awoke"

Wow. So much for good friends, huh.

I nodded my head and slowly got up and made my way to the door.

"Where you going sweetheart?" Magnus asked.

He called me sweetheart

"I'm gonna go home and shower then go to my friends", I said looking back scrunching my eyebrows.

His stare made me feel things i haven't felt in a long time. I don't like it.

He nodded his head and arched his brow before bringing his glass up to his lips.

"Have fun"

I opened the door and walked down the hall and made my way downstairs. I got a taxi home and when I got there ate some food and took a shower.

My outfit was a simple black tank top, black skinny jeans, a blue Jean jacket, with my black goddess sandals.

I made my way to the church and when I walked in got a lot of side glances and rude stares.

"Aph"

I looked over to see Alec and Izzy waving me over.

"Are you alright?" Alec surprisingly asked first.

"Yes I'm fine, thank you Alec", I said while Izzy side hugged me while smiling. I'm glad were all getting along.

I walked over to Clary and Jace to see what they were doing. "So what are we doing?"

Alec is trying to train Clary right know while I sit on the ground further back from them. Alec knocked Clary on the ground again

Wow, she really sucks at this.

"Spread your feet apart wider", Alec commanded. Clary awkwardly got into position and striked at Alec only to be knocked down again. I signed shaking my head while looking down.

Alec looked at me and rolled his eyes when he saw me sitting.

"You know you can help too"

"Nope, your the shadowhunter"

"Wow"

"Love ya buddy"

He rolled his eyes before looking back at Clary and explaining how to attack and how not to lose to an enemy. I wasn't really listening seeing as last night and Magnus were still on my mind.

Especially Magnus. Why did he have to be so weird but also intriguing.

No. Stop it Aph you can't fall in love again.

I'm trying not too but it isn't working.

Well try harder!

After I came back to reality Alec was putting his shirt on and Clary was gone.

"Where did Clary go?"

"She ran off come on".

When we finally managed to find Clary she was on the phone with Simon. People were looking around them in confusion when they heard her phone ringing but saw no one.

"What's the point of being invisible if your phones not on vibrate?" I asked from behind her only to be ignored.

"Yes Simon I'm fine. I'm with Alec and Aph"

"Get off the phone", Alec said rudely.

"I got to go Simon, yes I'll meet you there".

When she finally got off the phone her and Alec started arguing again. I was too busy looking across the street watching a couple with there child enjoying life.

It made me angry that I couldn't  have what they have.

Happiness. A family.

Alec grabbed me by my arm and dragged me with him and Clary. We turned into an alley and saw Simon. He led us to the back of Clary's old apartment and climbed up the ladder. A little to fast for a human.

I went up before Alec and when I got up to the balcony I saw all the runes on the wall.

Protection runes

We tried to open the door but it was locked. Alec went to draw an unlocking rune when Simon opened the door by kicking it in. Something a human could never do. I noticed his aura which is usually white becoming a pink almost red color which is for a  vampire in transition.
