" Kaia Grean" The townsfolk turned towards me in shock. Never had they expected that the daughter of a beggar to be royalty. I made my way through the crowd trying to ignore the whispering and scowls on their faces. This can't be happening, it has to be some kind of joke, I thought. Everyone else seem to have read my mind and were beginning to laugh.
" What kind of joke is this!" A woman shouted, " She's not a princess, she's a beggar!" She continued.
" My daughter is the one you should be taking!" A mother yelled.
" Your daughter, I think you mean my darling Lorelei!" Another villager shouted.
My face burned, and I shoved my way through the crowd the arguing getting louder. I ran as fast as I could but the guards chased after me. Without thinking I ducked into a shop. A pair of emerald eyes glimmered through the darkness, " You shouldn't be here."
