A week since Peter and I got together. A week since I found out about being a test experiment. After finding that out, I thought my week was going to be horrible but it actually wasn't. I haven't told Peter about how I actually got my powers but I was going to tonight. Archie had found out Peter and I, thanks to MJ and her big mouth, and wanted to meet him as soon as he could. And that was tonight. I have never been so nervous in my whole life. Growing up, Archie never had to worry about this because I was home-schooled most my life. I groan, resting my head in the palm of my hands as the Spanish teacher continued speaking. Why did Archie have to find out soon? Why couldn't it have been another month until he found out?"Eleanora." My teacher called out, grabbing my attention.
I shoot my head up, causing my hair to fall in my face. "Si Señora, yes Mrs.?" I asked, moving the hair out of my face.
"Cómo se dice, how do you say ..." She froze thinking of a word for me to say in spanish. "I'm stressed and tired."
It was like she was reading my mind. I thinned out my lips, thinking of how to say properly without messing it up. "Estoy estresado y cansado." I answer, with a small smile painted over my lips.
Senora nodded her head with a proud smile on her face. "Eso es correcto, that's correct! Buen trabajo Ms. Taylor, good work Ms. Taylor."
I nod my head, before lowering it back down. The bell rung, making the kids in the class all rush out to meet with their friends for the five minutes they had before they get to their next class. I quickly gather up my stuff, saying goodbye to the Señora and rushed out the class. My locker was right across from Señora's so I make my way towards it to grab my science book for the next class. I open my locker, wanting to back my head against it and pull out my science book. I place back my spanish book and close the locker shut. There was a figure leaning against my locker, causing me to jump but once I saw who it was, I realized there was no reason to jump.
"How are you?" Peter asks, noticing the bags under my eyes.
"Tired." I answered, shrugging my shoulders. "I'm super stressed about tonight. I have no idea what Archie has planned."
Peter nods his head, listening to me rant to him. "Don't stress about it. It's going to be fine."
I furrow my eyebrows together, confused on how Peter wasn't stressed out about it. "How come you're not stressed about it?"
Peter's eyes widened before he shakes his head. "Oh I'm super stressed but I'm trying to act like I'm not so you're not stressed."
A snort escapes from me as I try to cover my mouth from the laughs that threatened to escape. Once I was calmed, I uncover my mouth and give Peter a loving look. "Nothing's gonna make me stop stressing out about this, but thank you anyways."
I earn a smile from Peter before he nods his head. "Of course anytime." He says smiling at me. I give him one more lovingly look before the bell rings, signaling that class was about to start. A sigh escapes from my lips, I now had to go to science where I dealt with Flash trying to be a know-it-all. A sigh comes from Peter as well, catching my attention. "See you after school?" He asks, making sure that was the plan.
I nod my head, answering his question. Peter nods his head as well, longingly looking at me. "Okay. See you later." Is the last thing he says before placing a quick kiss upon my lips and rushing off to class. I froze in my spot as he ran off to his class. Heat rose to my cheeks making my stomach explode with butterflies. A smile grew onto my face, thinking about what just happened. The bell rung once again, signaling that class has started. My eyes widened as I began to ran to my science, knowing that I was already late.
