Dear Diary,
Steven drove me to school today. We walked inside hand-in-hand, and I sort of felt proud. This was more positive attention than I had ever felt in my life.
Evidently, Levi had basically told everyone about last night, so everyone knew. Steven told me not to be surprised.
"That's just what Levi does. Or rather, what Theo does when Levi tells him something."
I nodded in understanding.
"Hey, Starles!" Someone called out.
"Sup, Sam," Steven responded.
"Thought you weren't a thing," Sam replied sarcastically.
"Evidently not." He lifted his hand, the one wrapped around mine, to whistles of approval.
I'm quite sure my face turned red. I buried it in his chest to "aww's". Steven-my boyfriend- gently pulled me to our lockers.
I'm truly happy now that I have my Steven. I know he'll look out for me.
Sincerely,
Charles David Barnes
