January 18th,
Steven took me on another date last night. It was quite fun. We went to this arcade sort-of-deal, and I mostly just watched him play some games. He's stunning when he has this look of concentration on his face; biting his lip and creasing his eyebrows.
Mum thinks I'm finally breaking out of my shell a bit, but I told her turtles never do lose their armour. She sighed.
I suppose she's glad now that I get out of the house.
She told Dr. Chesman that I have a boyfriend. The psychologist was apparently very impressed that I found myself a man within the first week of the move. I told her that he wasn't "my man" until far more recently. Mum told her not to believe me.
"If you'd seen the looks they'd give each other..."
I'm going to sketch Steven for a little while. After that, I'll possibly go to bed.
Sincerely,
Charles David Barnes
