this story is set in a universe where the only colors you can see are shades of your soulmate's eyes, until you meet them for the first time.
elisa moore is 23 years old, and she's been living with her best friend morgan adams in hawaii for a couple of years, before they both decided to move to LA and stay with her brother ryland and his fiance, shane. elisa gave up on the idea of soulmates a long time ago, when she realized she was the only one in her family who hadn't found hers yet. when morgan brought up the idea of moving, she jumped at the chance, because living in hawaii isn't that great when the only things you can see are shades of brown. but when shane decides to film a new video, elisa isn't expecting the cameraman to be the one who changes her world completely.
