"Simon-san is a saviour," you breathed as you hurried down the busying streets. As the machine had left Shizuo's hands, headed towards Izaya and you, Simon had leaped down from the highest floor of the apartment you were next to and caught it in his hands.
As soon as you got to Izaya's penthouse, you collapsed on the soft couch he owned. Your gaze drifted over to the board game Izaya had set up on the coffee table. It was filled with pieces from different games, and although you didn't understand it very well, you never asked what he was doing with it.
Wordlessly, you got up and strolled over to him. He was currently spinning around in his seat, his eyes focusing on the computer screen in front of him, however, he stopped when he noticed you coming over.
"Anything new happen in the chat room, Kanra-kun?" you questioned, wrapping your arms around him as you moved behind him.
"Nothing interesting," he replied, his lips curled up in a devilish grin. He reached up, pulling you into his lap and caressing your soft locks of hair. He had claimed that doing so relaxed him, and you didn't mind since you enjoyed the feeling of his fingers brushing your head.
At first, he had only thought of you as a toy and a mere human, nothing more. But after you started dating, he asked you a question.
"If I cheated on you, how would you react?"
Your answer intrigued him, making him completely fall for you. He hadn't expected it at all; he assumed that you would say you would cry and be heartbroken by it, but no.
You had laughed before giving him the answer he desired.
'If you cheat on me, then that means you don't love me. And since we would be breaking up after, it wouldn't mean much to me since...I'd be losing someone who didn't love me, but you'd be losing someone who loved you'.
You nuzzled your head into his neck as he typed into his computer, the steady sound of his slender fingers hitting the keys calming you. You observed him doing his work, no words escaping through your lips.
A short while after, you got up with sweet smile.
"I'm going out for a bit!" you said, tugging his fur jacket off the back of his chair. He watched with amusement as you slipped it on, shoving some money and your phone into the pockets.
"Have fun!" Izaya called out, smirking slightly. You pressed your soft lips against his cheek before waving bye and exiting. You descended down the elevator to the ground floor, stepping out through the doors and continuing on down the street.
Izaya's jacket was quite comfortable, the scent reminding you of him. Your reason for going out was quite simple. It was almost the time when families and others had dinner, and you had gone out to get fatty tuna—Izaya's favourite—from Russia Sushi.
Ever since he informed you that it was his favourite food, you would go out and purchase some every once in a while and present it to him with a smile once you got home.
"Welcome, (Name)!" Simon greeted you. He gestured you inside. "Sushi good here!"
After talking for a short while with Simon and Dennis inside, you left with a large container of fatty tuna in your hands. You noticed Masaomi walking around with his hands stuffed in his pockets, so you ran over to him.
"What happened to Sonohara-san and Mikado-kun?" you asked. He glanced up, his brown eyes staring at you.
"He ran away with her."
"It's love!" you shouted, giggling. "Though you made it sound like they ran away to escape from the clutches of cruel humanity to be together. You can't get in the way of them though. Besides, if you're feeling lonely...when was the last time you actually saw Saki? And I mean when did you last talk to her and not just stared at her window from the front of the hospital?"
He looked away, toeing the ground. "It's none of your business..."
"If you say so," you answered cheekily. "Anyways, see you tomorrow at school!"
You smacked the top of his head lightly before dashing off, chuckling as you got closer and closer to your destination.
"Fatty tuna?" Izaya said, glancing up from his computer screen. You dropped the box in front of him, including a pair of chopsticks and a napkin.
"Enjoy!"
He smirked, grabbing your wrist before you were able to walk away and take off his jacket. "I think you deserve a reward, my dear (Name)-chan."
The info broker pulled you closer, placing a hand on your cheek and meeting your lips with his. You let out a squeak of surprise before relaxing into the kiss. Your hands were clenching his shirt as your lips meshed with his, a chuckle escaping you. You could feel
After he had pulled away, your cheeks were tinted pink and you were breathless.
"I should get fatty tuna more often for you," was what came out of your mouth next. He chuckled, watching as you happily slipped off his coat and hung it around the back of his desk chair before you ran off to make dinner for yourself.
As you poured boiling water into a cup of instant noodles with one hand holding the kettle, the fingers of your free hand brushed your lips. The soft sensation of him kissing you was still there, and you savoured it. Some might call you weird or too young for love, but honestly, you didn't care. It was your life, not theirs, and your heart just chose to fall in love sooner than others.
You were so busy watching the hot water pouring from the kettle that you didn't notice Izaya creeping up behind you. You jumped as he blew lightly on your ear, the kettle nearly falling from your hands.
"Izaya-kun!" You set the item you were holding down as he smirked at you, his hands reaching past you to entrap you between his arms. "If you want more fatty tuna, I'll go buy you some more."
He chuckled lightly, his reddish-brown eyes sweeping across your face. "I don't need more, although that would be nice. I want...you."
"Then you have to wait until I finish my instant ramen first!" you said, slipping underneath his arms and escaping. You grabbed the cardboard cup of noodles, making sure to take a spoon and chopsticks from a drawer as you passed by it.
"If that's what it takes," Izaya replied, his voice smooth.
Your slippered feet padded against the flooring as you made your way to the couch, carefully setting your utensils and food on the table. After waiting a few minutes for the noodles to soften from the water, you started to eat. Eventually, the amount of noodles left dwindled down to zero, the broth inside almost gone as well.
"I'm going to go change!" You tossed your garbage into the bin before trotting to the room you shared with Izaya. Pulling open the doors to the closet, you yanked off a short sleeve shirt that belonged to Izaya, although he never wore it, and a pair of shorts. After slipping them on, you noticed the length of your top ended mid-thigh, barely allowing the shorts to peek out at the bottom, which made you giggle.
You were just too in love with Izaya, if you were being honest with yourself.
