Running

Thrown into the action in a seconds decision. Kihyun almost saw Wonho's shocked expression as he spun on his heals and sprinted like his life depended on it (which it literally did). The older definitely didn't see this one coming, considering the pink haired male came so quietly. The guards looked on at him motionlessly and stunned as Wonho started to literally bark for them to go after the younger, to bring him back to the Alpha. I guess non of them could see through the lies and corruption in the system enough to rebel against it, to rebel against powerful Alpha's like him who kept people against their will.

"Apparently we're mates, but I don't believe in that bullshit"

A low growl was heard from behind Kihyun, he only smirked at what he'd managed to say before he'd took off. He did manage to glance over his shoulder however, and see Wonho in wolf form. The black and blue coat of his wolf matched his hair and his piercing blue eyes stared back at the weak Omega as he ran off. No wonder he was the chief Beta of the pack, his presence was almost overpowering. But Kihyun just kept on, even when his injuries he'd gotten getting here protested and told him to stop, he just kept running.

He managed to clear the front of the estate, not without a bunch of guards seeing him covered in blood running legless out the front gates, which conveniently had been left open. The entrance to this particular packs base was only separated by an quiet highway, from there on it was thick forest all the way to the next town which was miles away. In this state Kihyun knew he didn't stand a chance, yet it was worth a try. His legs ached with every step he took, his heart pounded as if it would rip out his chest at any point. Wonho had his scent, he'd be the tracker, and there's no doubting that his so called mate would be close behind.

Howling

It echoed through the forest and sent shivers across the pink haired males bruised spine. The howls of merciless creatures that he called his own that would rip kingdoms apart in order to find him. He knew they'd be splitting up to search more areas, and this was the queue. Kihyun had got to find a place to hide or a safety spot soon, maybe even a source of water to hide under the ripples or something to try and mask his scent.

Footsteps

His wolf senses could distantly hear the pounding of paws and that of the soldiers running after him, twigs snapping and the distant ringing of bells that hung from the soldiers uniforms.

He needed to hide now.

A large oak tree stood a few metres in front of him, and by the looks of it, it was easy enough to climb up. Kihyun ran at it, and using all the strength left he climbed until he was half way up with a view of the forest floor below. Only seconds passed and the guards from the base came by quicker than lightning, telling the weakened omega somehow his plan had worked.

"How on earth did those morons miss that?" He smirked, proud of himself that he'd pulled such a thing off. Jumping back down, he fell instantly to the floor as pain shot through his whole body.

"Shit" he whispered, struggling to get to his feet before turning an opposite way to where the guards had been and sprinting like hell. He'd outrun them once, he could surely do it again? Doing it again would definitely be easier if he went full on wolf. His form shifted, his wolf's golden brown and bloodied fur showing itself in new territory. Kihyun preferred his wolf form, it showed what power he did have more than he had as a human. Everyone had always though he was weak. It was particularly true, as he had to admit he wasn't strong like Wonho was, and he was completely the opposite of his alpha and his 'mate.' But Kihyun had one thing that definitely made him strong- he was extremely smart. So smart he'd just outwitted some of the most powerful soldiers in the country.

Yet he wasn't smart enough

He didn't have time to react, only time to see the beast himself run into him, sending them both flying in two directions from the force. Kihyun's back hit a tree, the breath being took straight out of him and shifting back into human form almost instantly. He gasped and fell to the ground, withering and struggling to get back on his feet. Only then did he see the true form of a heartless tyrant himself.

Shownu's wolf was jet black like the night sky, his burning golden eyes flared at the omega as his instincts made him freeze, cower and bow. His fur was covered in blood, to no surprise as he'd probably lost his temper as soon as Kihyun had ran. A little voice in his head was hoping he wouldn't lash out at him, yet that was inedible.

"You've got to do better than that to outwit me, love"

That voice, it made Kihyun feel sick. The voice of a heartless man. One who was in campfire stories, the one who haunted your dreams with the nightmares. Alpha Shownu. After having no clear response, the alpha's wolf snarled, earning a whimper from Kihyun. He has to admit it, he was petrified.

Kihyun waited for the pain. And waited. And waited. When he didn't get it he used all his strength left to lift his head higher, to catch a glimpse at shownu's face. But, to Kihyun's surprise, as soon as their eyes met, his form of the wolf as black as a corrupted soul disappeared, instead leaving a man in it's place. Despite Kihyun's vision blurring, he could clearly see the smirk plastered on his face. As his vision darkened and the world disappeared from around him, the last thing Kihyun would remember, and there was no mistaking it, was what the alpha growled.

"Mate"
