A clock alarm started blaring loudly throughout the near silence of Kihyun and Shownu's joint room, the sunlight shining lowly onto the furniture through the half closed blinds. 6.54am. It was not really the time Son Hyunwoo wanted to be awoken from his much needed rest, yet he was the first to open his eyes before slamming his hand onto the clock, not breaking it by inches of his fingers.

"Shownu, don't break the clock again please" Kihyun spoke from beside him, his head in a book as he read in the early morning sunlight.

"Good morning to you too" Shownu said, voice husky from sleep. He extended his arm over to Kihyun's hand, his mate accepted Shownu's hand with his own whilst the other hand kept the book steady that he was reading.

"What you reading?" Shownu asked, eyes still adjusting to the light as he tried to depict the title on the front.

"A book" Kihyun smirked, Shownu just tutted.

"I know that love. What's it called?"

"Romeo and Juliet" the other replied, eyes never moving away from the thousands of singular words on the page that formed the book.

"You're seriously reading that" Shownu said dully, looking at his mate before shifting and lying on his back facing the ceiling. Kihyun rolled his eyes whilst the other wasn't looking.

"Yes I am thank you very much! Luckily for me I didn't drink so much that I had to have an escort get me to bed last night!"

"Who bought me back here?"

"Wonho and my brother. Half drunk the pair of them were, but I couldn't handle your weight on my own" Kihyun ranted, flipping a page over, a loud paper snapping sound of a page being turned with force filled the room.

"It was a celebration!" Shownu threw his hands up with a smile on his face, when he turned to look at Kihyun the omega was only scowling at him.

"Not for me! You marked my neck like crazy!" Kihyun growled, Shownu's mouth opened agape in shock as he started to realise and remember what had happened last night.

He remembered following Kihyun into the crowds, before long he'd been given many different drinks and found himself with the elites too. It wasn't the best idea he'd had, but he'd sure enjoyed himself. So much he remembered Wonho and Youngjae dragging him upstairs in a drunken trio at the end of the night, with Kihyun and Hyungwon close behind tired and hardly drunk due to them being in multiple conversations throughout the night.

Once his brother, his brother's mate and Kihyun's brother had left, he remembered kissing Kihyun passionately. They'd kissed in a half sober half drunken mess for a few minutes, until Shownu's mouth travelled down to Kihyun's neck. He remembered Kihyun slapping his arm gently, telling him to knock it off. But the Alpha didn't. He carried on and carried on, the rest of the events were a blur but he was sure that he'd passed out not long after.

Kihyun was starting at him as the Alpha processed his thoughts, he sighed before pulling the collar of his oversized t-shirt he slept in downwards, revealing angry looking purple marks dotted along his neck and chest. Shownu seemed to admire they for a few seconds, before Kihyun released his grip on his collar, the fabric returned to its normal position around his neck.

"They look good on you" Shownu murmured, getting up and sitting on the edge of the bed. Kihyun said nothing, instead choosing to ignore his mate and continuing to be wrapped in the fantasy world of his book.

"Yongguk and Himchan are leaving soon, we better go and give them our goodbyes. Especially because Dae and Youngjae are staying for the next week" Shownu said, rubbing his eyes as Kihyun listened to his words.
