Chapter 9: Happiness

You were setting up your phone a settings all the way up until the car came to a hault. You thought that he was just stopping for gas.. Which he was but there was a store next to it ,Lilly's cases.

You were so into looking at all of the different colored cases they were so pretty and deep down you wanted one but you knew that you couldn't afford it..

You were so into the cases you hadn't noticed that Mr. Park had been calling your name the whole time. Once he noticed what you were looking at he got out of the car with his umbrella in hand and he went around and he opened your door.

"OMO!!" You said shocked because you had been leaning on the door getting used to it. He chuckled and he extended out his hand.

"What?"

You questioned pouting with your head slightly tilted to the right. He was in awe and he suddenly grabbed your hand and he pulled you out of the car taking you into the store that you were staring at.

Once you walked into the store seeing all of the lights surrounding the glass that the cases lied within your mouth was slightly parted in awe and you could feel your heart spark a bit of hope and happiness within..

"Go on pick some" he said giving you a gentle push

"S-some..?"

You said confused from this store you knew every single last one cost alot of money..

"Mmhm or do you just want one..?"

He asked going up to examine the cases himself..

" shall we pick them together*

he said brushing his fingers against the glass. The lights glisten on his milky skin, he looked like an angel. No he was an angel..
You smiled at the thought and you walked over to him and you began to pick out the funniest, savage, and cutest cases together.

You picked out 3 cases because you didn't want to spend alot but Mr. Park picked out there more because he wanted you to have them.. But he didn't let you see them yet. He wanted it to be a surprise..

The whole time your mother was watching from the car with a smile on her face.. She's never seen you smile since that day and it pained her because you were always the one who would laugh for no reason, the one who would always smile and talk about the goods in your days..

The one who would sing and dance to entertain and cheer up her mother.. And a tear rolled down her cheek, she missed your smile ALOT, and now she sees it..

By the time you two got to the car you both were giggling and smiling talking about the cases that you got and how everyone would think.

" You should smile more.. It fits You really well"

Mr. Park said smiling opening up your door for you. You blushed and nodded, that's when You noticed that You were really enjoying this time.. Out.. With him.. You were so busy being dark and souless you'd forgot how to be happy...

But now you can feel it , now you Do feel it.. And you love the feel I , you missed the feeling of joy. Of happiness. You were smiling with your head leaning on the window as you heard your mom giggling and joking with him.. He made her happy. He gave her hope. Love..

You were enjoying hearing her laughs and as you were going into your own space you could only hear the rain drops pattering against the window. Your smile stayed in your face and you saw your reflection of your smile and you soon peacefully fell asleep.
