ophelia clemonte was perfectly content with her life. it was difficult, but she wouldn't have it any other way. her father worked long hours every day as a doctor at a hospital on the east coast, and her mother had tragically passed when she was two.

because her father was head over heels in love with his wife, he never remarried and raised ophelia the best way he could. therefore, she picked up on a few things that weren't exactly "ladylike" which she was teased for at her schools by the other girls. it was frowned upon by her teachers how she would act out and cause disruptions coming from such an upper-class family.

she was raised to follow her heart over her head, and how to be independent from a very young age. because of this, her father saw no problem throwing her into a school filled with boys when the opportunity revealed itself.

harold clemonte knew of the dangers that the world would hurl at his daughter, so he wanted her to receive the best education as he wanted her to not rely on someone. he saw education as something no one could take from her, it was always there.

as an alumnus of wellton academy, and with an abundance of riches, he registered his ophelia to the school. it took a tremendous amount of persuasion and money to get her there, but they agreed.

ophelia became bitter with how the school wanted her to dress, and expected her to act, but she grit her teeth and went through with it for her father.

her plan of staying to herself and surviving without even interacting with anyone was foiled by neil perry and todd anderson, both of whom were right down her hall.
