I texted Claire that I was outside, a little bit after I sent the text I saw her walk out of her apartment building. "Hey dork" she said to me, "I DONT NEED THAT FROM YOU TO" I said to her. She just smiled, I quickly pecked her lips when she got in the car. "So where are we going?" She asked turning to me as I started the car. "Oh, nowhere special." I said giving her a slight wink. "No no no. Tell me." She said, "I can't it's a surprise." I said in a "duh" tone. "Oof okay." , I laughed and told her we would be there soon. She started to guess all the places where we could be going.

Claires POV
We finally pulled up at this place, I didn't know what it was. "Okay seriously, where are we?" I asked him as we got out of the car. "Well.. I didn't really know where to take you, but this is a ferry place." He said. "Why are we going on a ferry?" I asked. "Well.... I thought it might be fun to go to Catalina." He said raising his eyebrows. "WAIT SERIOUSLY?!?" I asked shocked. "Yeah, I mean I've never been there before. But I've heard that is really beautiful." He said looking straight at me. "And I my first time there to be with some equally as beautiful as the Island." He said. "Oof" was all I managed to get out.
