Coles POV
(Before the crash)
When Claire left I walked back inside. I sat on the couch with my friends. "IM HINGRY AGAIN!!" Kj yelled. "Then go get yourself food." Cami said , " I'm just gonna to go to Wendy's. Bye." He said and walked out.
It was about 30 minuets after Kj had left, when my phone started to ring. It's Kj. "Hey Kj." I said as I answered the phone. "Hey um.." I heard Kj on the other line. He sounded like he about to rust into tears. "Is everything okay?" I ask him, I'm getting worried. Maybe he crashed into a car, or maybe paparazzi got to him and he said something he should've of. "You need to get to the hospital now." He said. "oh god, are you hurt." When I said that everyone's head turned towards me. "No uh.. I fucked up. Big time." He said, this time I knew he was crying. "Kj calm down. What happened?" I asked trying to calm him down over the phone. " I hit her." He said as I could hear his sobs getting worse. When he said "her" I knew exactly who he meant. I hung up the phone and stood up. "What happened?" Lili asked me, "Vanessa let's go." I said starting towards the door. "Okay?" She said getting up and following me. We got in the car, and I started driving. "What's going on?" She asked, I felt like crying. "I don't know." Is all I said. "Then where are we going?" She asked. "The hospital." I said not looking at her. "Wait what!?" She said turning her head towards me. "Is Kj okay?" He asked. "Yeah Kj is fine. But Claires not." I said turning my head to her, tears running down my face. "What happened to her?" She asked, "I have no idea. Kj said he was fine but she wasn't." "How do you know he was talking about Claire?" She asked. "The way he was talking to me.. He knew I was gonna be mad at him, he spoke so carefully. And, I don't know. He just told me to get to the hospital." I said not looking at her once. "Okay. Now I'm worried." She said looking away from me. The rest of the ride was silent.
