Chapter 3: Meeting the neighbours

Alleys POV (Astrid)

I heard a knock at the door so I shouted to mum and dad "I'll get it".
I opened the door and there stood a  tall boy with brown hair and green eyes. I stood there silent for a second until he said,
"Hey, I live next door"
"Oh hey, nice to meet you" I replied.
I said to him that he could come in and meet the rest of my family, and he did.

FAST FORWARD IN TIME

An hour had passed and he said that he had to get back to his house, I waved goodbye as he walked down the drive and then closed the door.

I ran upstairs into my room and restarted unpacking my boxes. After half an hour my wardrobe was sorted out, my dad had put my bed up and put the mattress on so all o had to do was put on the bed sheet and the pillows.

SMALL TIME SKIP

I had been putting my books on my bookshelf for what seemed like forever until I heard my mum call me and say "were going over to the neighbours house for dinner soon, time to get ready"
"Okay mum I'll get ready now" I replied.
I felt happy because I got to see my new friend today.
