PERCY'S POV
It's been one month but I still can't and will never be able to get over the fact that it should've been me instead of Annabeth.
I still remember how she sank her sword into Gaea's altar. I will never be able to forget her stormy grey eyes filled with the mixed feelings of pain, love and hopelessness as she stepped into the spinning vortex to stop Gaea from ever waking.
It was either me or her and she sacrificed herself and saved me and the whole world. I still feel the same hopelessness that I felt when she told me to move on with my life and forget about her.
My thoughts were disturbed by the ringing of the bell for breakfast.
I went to the dining pavilion and sat at my table.
''Today we will have a council meeting at 11 in the morning Chiron announces after coming in.
Every now and then I could sense people stealing glances at me.
After a while Jason comes and sits next to me.
I got up and left dining pavillion at that instant without speaking . On my way out people murmuring but I controlled my temper and walked out.
I went to the canoe lake and dived in.
Once in the lake the memories of the times I had spent with Annabeth in the lake started coming back to me in the form of a flashback and then I blacked out .
