PERCYS PoV
When I reached the Big House all the other councillors and the members of the ARGO 2 were already seated .
I went and sat next to Nico.
“Are you alright” asked Nico in a concerned tone .
“Ya just leave me alone” Ï replied .
“I have summoned you here for two things” Chiron started
“Firstly about ann…. Annabeth” . I felt like someone shot me down with a gun .
He continued “Drew would like to say something” .
“What is she doing here” I heard Piper ask .
“Jealous much” snapped back Drew .
Piper looked so angry that even I felt scared , but Jason calmed her down.
Drew started to speak “I would like to inform all of you that I had done a petition and more than half of the campers have agreed to stop the search for Annabeth as it is illogical and a waste of resources , we all know that she is dead and gone for good”.
I felt anger boil inside me “you are not worthy even to mention her name”.
“Also I hav not sensed her death till now” Nico supported me.
“OH, that may be because she is still rotting back in Tarturus” Drew replied .
“Go to hell Drew” I snapped back.
“Why , because you didn’t like it when you were there last time”.
Suddenly the door opened a satyr came in looking terrified .
“ Th… there’s a huge hur…hurricane heading towards camp half blood ”
“Drew go back to your cabin now” ordered Chiron .
“UGHH, Fine….” Drew muttered and left the room.
“Percy , please you’ve got to calm down buddy” Nico calmed me down.
After a few minutes of awkward silence the satyr returned ( much happy looking than before ) and informed us that the hurricane disappeared .
All of us sat down again .
“Okay , now to the second order of business” Chiron started again “Percy , Jason , Leo , Frank , Nico , Hazel , Piper and Calypso” He said looking to each one of us “All of you shall be attending High school at NY HIGH ”.
“NO” I shouted out “I cant”.
“Why cant you ? Its about time you moved on ” Asked Jason .
“You stay outta this Grace” I snapped back .
“Why should I” replied Jason.
“Cuz its none of your business” . I shouted and left the big house , slamming the door on my way out.
I don’t know whats wrong with every one , cant they understand my current state of mind . I couldn’t stand it anymore so I went to my cabin and shut the door .
HAZELS PoV
I don’t know why but a sudden wave of guilt swept across my mind .
I should’ve been a better fighter then maybe Annabeth would’ve survived and Percy wont be suffering like this.
“I will get him” I shouted out loud .
I walked out of the room and went after Percy . I saw him going into his cabin .
I hesitated before going in but soon picked up courage to go in .
Inside I saw Percy in his bed with his legs folded to his chest and was he ……….. CRYING !!!!!
I went and sat next to him and put my hand over his shoulder and comforted him “Don’t worry , Annabeth is the smartest demigod I’ve ever met and knowing that you survived will give her the strength to go on and survive”.
“But its not possible , I…..I saw her go into the vortex and sacrifice herself for us , I saw the pain in her eyes and I had never felt so hopeless ever in my life” Percy said in a faltered tone .
“Percy you have nothing to worry about , Plus me and Nico haven’t been able to sense her death and trust me Nico has never been wrong” .
“That’s what I’m worried about , What if she is still in Tartarus , trust me when I’m saying this that place is worse than death”.
“Come on Percy come back to your senses . You have to trust Annabeth , She will somehow find a way back” I put all my force into my words.
“Anyways about the high school thing , I think that we should go ”.
“But I cant” Percy replied .
“Yes you can that’s what Annabeth would want”.
“OK Fine” he gave in .
Just then the door burst open and I saw Frank looking stunned.
He said “I think you guys need to see this” .
