Hearing the news that I had to kill... again, was not pleasant.
How could it be? I had killed my father for selfish reasons. I had convinced myself that he would not mind because he was making his baby happy.
Encouraging his baby to be assertive just like he always preached.
I was certain that my deceased mother would wipe a tear while I killed my father but she wouldn't mind. She too would do anything for true love. Would even defy her common fish folk by marrying a prince.
Just like I had betrayed the mer-kind by killing their king. All for my prince.
The prince who I now had to kill before midnight.
But first, I had to get help. There was no way I would be able to roam the earth with my zombie tail.
At least for some consolation, I had one leg... or foot.
It was hard to tell what it was, but after I killed him I would have both legs and no more zombie flesh.
If there is more fish in the sea, why wouldn't there be more princes on land?
There will be more princes, right?
