Marina flipped around in the air for yet another show. W.D and Marina bowed before running off backstage where Evie was helping Lettie with her dress. Marina ripped her wig of and tossed it on the floor.

"I can't feel my hands and this leotard is giving me a massive wedgie." Marina moan in misery.

"Well, that wasn't very lady-like." A voice was heard. Marina jumped and tackled the young man who spoke. It was none other than young Collins boy, the next Duke of Devonshire. His soft blonde hair combed back and he wore a nice suit. Everyone looked at William spin the circus girl in the air. Mal, however, didn't know who he was and proceeded to jump on his back and hit him over the head.

"Let go of her!" W.D was the first in action to try to pry Mal off of the young man's back. William put the young trapeze girl down and backed away.

"I can have to hung for that, you know." William said in a serious voice, but Marina scoffed.

"Yeah, right. Just like you would have had me hung for punching you." Marina remembered. William shook his head and brought Marina to his arms. Mal and Evie watched them talk before,

"Who is he?" Evie asked.

"How rude of me. I am William Collins." William took Evie's had and gave it a kiss on the top. Evie giggles before she is pushed away by Mal.

"He was my first friend when I went to England." Marina mentioned. She hoped that it would show Mal that he was no threat.

"...and you are, my lady?" William asked. He looked at Marina for her to answer.

"William, this is my sister, Mal, and her friend, Evie."

"Sister?" William questions, he leans in closer to Marina and whispered, "I thought you said you were an orphan and an only child? Only child usually means that, no siblings."

"I thought so too, but Mal found me and said that my mother was still alive."

"What about your father?" William questions again. Marina shrugged as her answer.

"You're right. Mal, who is my father?" Marina asked Mal.

"Our father is--" Mal was cut off by Philip.

"Lettie, you're up. Time for the finale." Philip pointed out the show. Lettie stood up and walked out, everyone in the show followed as well. Marina smiled at William before putting on the wig again. The fog had started and music playing.

William stared at the show in front of him. Anne, pregnant and all, walked over and spotted William. She also noticed the looks that Mal was giving. She glared daggers at the back of his head.

Philip jumped out of the fog with the others following behind. Not just them but two great elephants on each side. Marina was standing on one elephant and W.D on the other.

Backstage, William clapped as loud as he could. Mal watched him carefully back clapped along with everyone else. As the audience started to depart, Marina was helped down the elephant by William. He picked the trapeze girl up and hugged her tightly. Something in Mal's gut had told her that something big was going to happen.
