I wake up to the sun pouring through the window and dancing on the floor. I sit up, let out a yawn and stretch. I look back at the nightstand to check the time. Just after 7. I got four hours of sleep. Oh well, I've run on less. I slide out of bed and go to the end of the bed to the bench. I fish out my hairbrush from by backpack and brush the tangles out of my hair, then grab the one singular hair elastic I have and put my hair in a high ponytail. I don't really have gym clothes, so I just put on a tank top and keep on Buckys sweats. They're easy enough for me to maneuver in. I'm not bringing weapons to training because they want me to use my abilities and show them more of my skill in hand to hand combat. Once I'm ready I leave my room and make my way to the kitchen. Bucky is sitting at the island eating an apple and he's wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. "Morning." I greet him. "Morning. Are you going to training in my sweats?" He asks. "Uh, yeah. I hope you don't mind, I just don't have any actual work out clothes and these are easy to maneuver in." I tell him. "It's fine. You should talk to Wanda and Natasha about shopping. I'm sure they'd love to go with you." He suggests. "Okay." I say and open the fridge. There's not a lot in here. "I don't have much right now. I'm waiting for the new shipment of food still." He tells me. I nod. I spot the fruit bowl on the island. There's apples, bananas, pears, a lot of plums, and a few peaches. My purple light surrounds and apple and it floats to me. It lands in my hand and I start eating it and lean on the counter. Bucky just chuckles, then gets up and throws his apple core in the compost. After another few minutes I'm done my apple as well and throw out the core. "Wanna go early? There's not much to do here anyway." Bucky offers. "Sure." I accept. Together we go over to the elevator, I push the up button, and we wait. Soon the elevator shows up and we both get on. Bucky presses the button for the 80th floor and we start the descend. "So are you able to manipulate everyone's mind to not see the bruises?" Bucky asks. "I should be. I've manipulated more minds to not be able to see me at all, and that takes more power." I tell him. "Okay. Again, I'm really sorry. I haven't stopped thinking about it since it happened." He says. "It's okay. I don't blame you remember." I remind him. He nods slightly, then the elevator dings and the door slides open. We walk out and I look around. They layout is basically the same and mine and Bucky's floor, but smaller, and on the opposite side of the room from us is a door labeled Training room. About 30 feet down from that is a door labeled Pool. The hallway continues, but I can't see any doors from here. I can hear noises coming from the training room, so I'm assuming anyone that came early is already in there. Bucky and I make our way over and go inside. Natasha, Steve, Sam, and Clint are all in here already. Clint is at an archery range, Sam is at the punching bag, and Nat and Steve are sparing. Immediately I manipulate their brains so they don't see the bruises. I feel like Bucky should talk to someone or get some kind of help, but if he doesn't, I'll respect his wishes. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to help him. I walk over to Nat and Steve and watch them for a bit. Even though Steve has the strength, Nat has the agility, so it's pretty even. Steve pins Nat, holds her there for 5 seconds, then they both stand up and shake hands and congratulate each other on a good fight. "Hey Kat! How'd you sleep?" Steve asks when he notices me. "Uh, good, yeah." I lie. "That's good." He responds. Wow he can't read a lie at all. "So, what are the weapons you're strongest with?" Natasha asks. "Uh, I'm best with knives, daggers and guns, but I can use basically everything. "Well come over here." She ushers me over to where Clint was shooting arrows, but he just came back from collecting them and put then back in the bucket he got them from. The bucket looks like a metal quiver. I stand in front of a line that I'm guessing you need to stand behind when you're shooting or throwing. Nat goes over to a stand of weapons and grabs a set of throwing knives. Everyone that's in here is now standing over here eager to see what I can do. "Can you use these?" She asks. "Yeah." I respond, and take one of them from her and she puts the rest on a table beside me. I get a feel for it, the weight, texture, balance, sharpness, all that. "So, the target you want to hit will light up. Just go till your knives are gone." Nat explains. "Okay, sounds easy enough."I say confidently. I have 10 knives, they'll be gone in no time. A hologram appears in front of Natasha and she puts in the settings and I focus on the targets, scanning over all of them waiting for one to light up. They're all about 20 feet away. The one right ahead of me lights up and I whip my knife at it. It whizzes through the air and sticks tight into the center of the target with a bang! One after another targets light up and I throw all my knives at them, hitting the center every time. I throw my last knife at the most hidden and hardest to hit target and it sticks right in the middle. I hum proudly and turn around to find everyone looking at me with shocked faces. I feel my eyes start to glow dark purple again. "Holy shit.." Clint murmurs. Nervously I start twiddling with my fingers. "That was awesome!" Sam exclaims. Bucky is just smirking at me. Everyone staring at me is surely making my eyes glow brighter so I turn around and use my magic to bring the knives back and put them on the table. When I look up Nat is standing there with two pistols held out to me. I take them, she sets up the settings, and just like last time, I wait for the first target to light up. Two light up at the same time, so I lift both of the guns and shoot. I'm guessing she raised the difficulty from what the knives were at because it's going so fast I don't have time to stop shooting until the guns run out of ammo. Once they do, I put them on the table and then scan the targets and my holograms show me an up close video image of the targets. The angle changes depending on where my eyes look. 98% of my shots hit the middle of the target. "Awesome.." I breath out. "What are you doing?" Nat asks. "Looking at where I hit the targets." I tell her. "You can see them from here?" She asks. "Not on my own." I respond, and hold my hand out to her. Hesitantly she takes it and I send my power into her so she can see the holograms that I see. "Holy shit! But don't you need a camera to do that?" She asks. "I basically am technology. I can do all the things you could do on a phone or computer with my mind. If your phone or computer was SUPER advanced." I explain. "That's fucking awesome." She cheers. I make the holograms go away and let go of her hand. "You and Vision are going to get along well." Nat jokes.
